My current hydrating, scar-clearing, and acne-controlling routine!

Hey everyone! My skin was a mess this month, so I changed up my skincare routine, and it’s been great! I have hormonal acne, discoloration from scars, and a little bit of texture. Here are my recommendations! 

first, let me say that I am on spironolactone and birth control to help keep the hormonal acne at bay. 

now for the products!:

1) E.L.F. Holy Hydration makeup melting cleansing balm $10 (when I have makeup on; typically in my nighttime routine); you can find this on Amazon, Target, Ulta, Walmart

2) Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Cleanser (around $10 at Walmart, Target, Ulta and Amazon); this is awesome for sensitive skin. No scent. No color. Super gentle. 

3) UrbanSkinRX Even Tone Cleansing Bar 3-in-1 Treatment ($15.99 at Ulta); I use this morning and night; morning I use this as my cleanser; night I use this after my cleansing balm and aveeno cleanser; this helps clear up my scars and can be used as a mask! 

4) Mediheal Vitamide Brightening Pad ($24 at Ulta); these are little brightening toner pads; they’re really gentle and I use them morning and night; they do have a citrus scent to them; it comes with 100 pads, tweezers, and a cute refillable packaging; I can’t figure out where to find the refills though, so let me know if you know! 

5) BYOMA Hydrating Milky Toner ($15.99 at Ulta, Walmart, Amazon, Target); this is so hydrating and gentle; no scent. It is awesome! A little goes a long way. 

Finally, I just moisturize with an unscented moisturizer ( First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair® Cream Intense Hydration – Face and Body Moisturizer for Skin Repair  or the ELF Holy Hydration Unscented Face cream) and a hydrating eye cream. I also use the Neutrogena SPF 50 Clear Face Sunscreen.
