Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@lmaster  Yikes! Itchy, splotchy redness would definitely be a pass for me too! I'm almost positive I would've bought this just for the packaging! - it's just too bad that was the best part about it!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

The serum was very strange too @Shosh85 it's a bummer!!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Salmon egg extract for gross week 😉🐟

Foreverskin Salmon Pore Care Mask

This is a medium thickness black cotton sheet mask that was drenched with a super sudsy serum. It had a pleasant scent that smelled mostly sweet/fruity to me, but there may have been just a hint of floral. It had a great fit, just a tad too long at the chin. It adhered well and the soft stretchy cotton was comfortable to wear the half hour I had it on. I pressed in leftover serum that was just very slightly tacky but it all absorbed in less than 10 minutes. My face looked a smidge brighter, and my skin felt hydrated and soft and smooth.

I might not be the best person to put the pore claims to test, since that's not really a problem area for me, but I did love the results I got! This is the second Salmon mask from the line that I've tried so far, and they were both great, though I do think I liked the whitening version a bit more.

The long ingredient list:

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Hmm..sounds great @Shosh85 but it's good to know you liked the whitening version more.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ShortErica  There are still two others from the line I need to try, but I'm pretty positive I'll be repurchasing the whitening one 😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85 I'm legit intrigued.  I've never heard of a salmon mask before.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@CookieGirl1  I was intrigued by it too! It seems like the weirdest and most unique ingredients give the best results! 😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85 I'm not sure why since it's salmon egg, but I picture pieces of smoked salmon laid out on your face lol.  I used a mask with salmon roe in it as well yesterday and I would't mind trying out more so I was glad to hear that you like this one!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@missjeanie  Haha! Right?! That's exactly how I pictured it too! ..... I'm pretty adventurous, but I don't think I'd go that far! 😂

Glad to hear you had a good experience with the ingredient as well!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I’m even more interested in this unique ingredient now that I know it is @Shosh85-approved! 😃🤔 I may also look at certain sushi items differently now. 🍱 😆 I am pretty sure I picked up a mask with this ingredient earlier in the year because I was a little curious; may have to sneak that one in the queue for this year now.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  When I first got into the masking game, I would've never thought of putting that ingredient on my face..... but here we are 😂 I'd definitely love to try more from the line and just more with that ingredient in general, because so far I'm loving it!

Also, speaking of sushi, this is what their eye patches look like👇🍣🍱😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Hahahaha @Shosh85! Those eye patches are hilarious! 😂 I must have them. 😍 I’m going to start a new list - masks worth breaking your “mask no buy” - and these are going on that list! They’re just too funny, and kinda cute. I’m also going to give myself an one-time (but just one) pass from now through the end of the year to break my sheet mask no-buy.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  I'll definitely be buying more of those eye patches! Not only are they cute, but they work great too!

.... and yay! for more sheet mask buying! I love looking at people's sheet mask hauls and I'll definitely be curious to see what you pick up! Not that I need any more, but I feel a mask haul coming too - now that I'm buying more singles and less packs, it won't add up as quickly 😉

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Alaskan salmon is the best 🤤 but this would be hard for me to wear @Shosh85 😬😱good pick!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@sonnydee  I love both eating it and wearing it! Haha! Seriously though, they have given me some great results, - but I can totally understand why someone wouldn't want to try it 😉

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Last nights, S for Slices. H for honey, hazel, & heavenly

Peach Slices in firm

Finished off the night with Glow Recipe lip pop in blueberry. Smells delicious!

Fit? Ok, usual extra in the chin

Smell?also heavenly a tart kinda fruity

Consistency? Thin, clear but alot of it. It takes sometime to soak in. I had some tack & even my choice of night moisturizer couldn't cover it all up

Ease of use?no issues

Would I  purchase/try again? Yes, I would definitely repurchase & have this one on hand, especially in the winter or if I spent a lot of time outside.-wind or sun

The serum is on the heavier side but its also light. After removing, I did feel like my skin was tigut, sort of "lifted" but not uncomfortable like a mud mask so maybe thats the "firm" aspect of it. It also makes me wonder if this would be a good mask before makeup🤔 i really enjoyed this one. 🍯🍯🍯🍯🍯🍯

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@sonnydee Honey is the best!  Glad you loved it enough to grab a few more!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Yaaay @sonnydee! Another winner from peach slices! 🙌🏼 Happy to hear this one worked out for you. 😃 I used to see peach slices more in Target and/or CVS. With Ulta now carrying PS skincare, I wonder if they’ll start offering the sheet masks from this line at some point. 🤞🏼

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

That would be nice. @itsfi I almost put in another order after using this one. 😬but i talked myself out if it. But i didn't see the piggy mud mask😥🐷

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

The piggy mud mask is super elusive @sonnydee! I can’t remember if it was LE for Lunar New Year a year or so ago. 🤔

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@sonnydee  This sounds great! Haven't tried this one yet, but the line seems pretty solid so far! 😃
