Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

Hi Ladies, 

I'm really big into multi-masking right now (let's kill two birds with one stone, right?). My current favorite mask combo is the Youth to the People Age Prevention Mask. It has kale, spinach and superfoods to really nourish your skin. I see a difference after using it every time, which is why I'm obsessed!

I have dry, dull eyes, so I paired this with the Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Eye Masks. These are so, so pretty (I love gold!) and they help depuff my eyes. My skin is foundation ready with this combo.

Thanks for sharing @PenelopeBT!! You make masking look good! I haven't tried either of these, but with the YTTP mask, is it like a clay mask?

Hi @Aaliaa,

Thanks gorgeous! The YTTP mask is a clay mask, but what I love about this one is that it doesn't harden like most clay masks, so it's super easy to wash off with warm water. I'm typically not a fan of clay masks. However, this one has easily become one of my favorites for prepping my skin before foundation.

Any coconut lovers out there?! This Too Cool For School Coconut Ceramide Mask smells JUST like a delicious freshly squeezed (if you could squeeze) coconut!! So yummy!! I'm on a sheet mask kick right now and this one hasn't tried to suffocate me in bubbles and isnt sticky so it's my fave so far! 👊😋

Oh this is one of my favourite sheet masks @GG84, good choice! There is a coconut water, coconut milk and coconut cream variety @mermadelove, honestly not sure what the difference is between them!

@Aaliaa, I know I have been thanking you a lot over the course of the last 3 weeks or so, when I stumbled upon your Mask of the week challenge. Well every single day for about 3-3.5 weeks I have used a face mask, without fail. Everything else in my life has pretty much stayed the same. Same diet, same excercise, same water intake (or lack there of!!), same face care regimen (pretty much, I did switch eye creams and added Son & Park Beauty Water to my morning regimen). The only thing I have done differently in my life is a daily mask (rotating between 5 different ones so I use only 2 twice in a week, pretty much - both Deep pore cleaning. The others are all moisture rich masks). And....for the first time in 25 years (maybe more than that!!!) I did not have bumps all over my face with at least 1 zit during pms/period. Nothing! Totally clear skin with minimal to no visible pores and blackheads. Thank you Aaliaa!!!!

Oh I think you should be thanking yourself, 3 weeks of everyday masking is amazing and I'm so happy your efforts are paying off with great results @KrishAtl!! I love how active this thread is with every sharing what does and doesn't work for them!! So whats the favourite mask you've used this past few weeks??

@Aaliaa, my top 2 favs for Deep pore/clarifying are hands down GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment and my Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. But I have to admit that I am a huge GlamGlow fan and love everything of theirs that I get my hands on. My skin can take some hard masks and I love the way they just dig in to the surface and get the gunk out! I do love a sleep mask for moisturizing every other night. My skin just feels better after them. It’s like I had an IV drip all night and I feel so much more hydrated in the morning! For that I love my REN Evercalm Comfort Rescue Mask. It says to remove after 10-15 minutes, but I don’t. I sleep in it. My skin looks and feels so good in the morning and it just makes sense on Sunday night!!
