Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

Last night I did this clay mask then sheet mask duo. Maybe we can do “dynamic duos” for the run up to Canada Day/4th of July? I did mud then sheet.

Ive tried a few masks in this brand and have liked them so far! This does sound like a great combo! I like the idea of “dynamic duos!” So fun! @mermadelove 🤗😉

I love using rinse off masks and then sheet masks @mermadelove!  Your Yes! to Tomatoes dynamic duo looks amazing!  I tried a 3-part nose strip mask kit from them a while back and loved the results, which reminds me, did I ever repurchase that and a backup?!  😉

Sephora Aloe vera face mask and Sol de Janeiro bath bomb

 Happy Saturday 😄 This evening I really wanted to relax and unwind so I drew a bath and grabbed the Sol de Janeiro bath bomb and my Aloe Vera sheet mask 🛀🏻 I love masking after a hot steamy bath or shower because it really opens
up my pores so the mask can reach it’s full potential ☺️

Aloe Vera Face Mask
This mask claims it will moisturize and plump skin for a more elastic looking, smooth surface. This mask was easy to unfold and peel away from the plastic baking, I’m clumsy so I’m always afraid of ripping my mask, this one did not rip 😄 It was easy to get in place on my face and the package contained quite a bit of serum, so I massaged the excess on my neck, chest, and shoulders. This serum dried down slightly tacky, almost sticky, but not enough to bother me. The instructions say up leave on for 15 minutes, but at that time the mask was still very damp so I kept it on for another 10 minutes. At that point I was done with this mask, and it was done with me (it began bagging up and looking like elephant skin 🐘  hahaha) After removing the mask and allowing my face to dry, my skin felt replenished, fresh, and very soft, but I did need to apply a nice layer of moisturizer as my skin began to feel dry and only slightly tight (although my skin typically feels like this, it drinks up all of my moisturizer and serums!). Over all I did enjoy this mask and would use it again, but I’ll definitely be trying out the Rose and Coconut masks first because they look like they may be more moisturizing😊

Before bed I’ll also be using my Laneige Water Sleeping mask; I discovered this mask in 2018 (as part of the challenge) I hate that it contains silicone but this one doesn’t bother my skin. When I use it, I always wake up with soft, plump, glowy skin. It reduces redness, helps with dry spots and makes my skin feel soft. I really love it 😍💦
