Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.
Masking Spreadsheet Info
Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).
Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.
Additional Info:
Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!
Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-
Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word
Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
There are 2 ways to edit a response:
1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:
2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet
Thanks @eshoe for putting this together!
Rules
Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.
Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.
Have Fun!!
P.S. If you have any suggestions or challenge recommendations feel free to message me and I'll add them to the list.

Merry Masking!
Nice masking and it's definitely paying off because your skin looks great!! Yes, the Watermelon mask works great for me for nice overnight mask. I've never used a mask from Lush, so glad for the review. Look forward to see what eye mask you're using today! Have great weekend!!
Yesterday's AM mask was all about the newbie and the PM masks consisted of tried and true favorites.
I decided to try the Ole Henriksen Cold Plunge Pore Mask on Friday morning, but instead of using it all over, I applied it to just my T-zone. Like others have noted, there’s a cooling feeling to this mask. For me, the cooling sensation was most noticeable when I first applied the mask, and again when I rinsed it off after 15 minutes. It felt very refreshing on and I thought it was perfect for the morning and for the summertime. Like others have posted, the mask does not dry down completely or harden, which is a plus in my book. I noticed that my T-zone looked more clear and my nose appeared less oily as well. What's more, these results seemed to hold up for the entire day; I don’t recall needing to blot my nose during the day. Hmmm…. interesting. Based on this initial use, my first impressions of the mask are favorable; I plan to use this mask again next week and we'll see if I get the same results as this first time. It’d be great if I did! 🙂
For my evening mask last night, I went with the Fresh Rose Mask, a mask loved by many, and for good reason too! I often reach for this mask on mornings when I’m short on time and need something quick, easy on my skin, and hydrating – 5 minutes is all it takes. After the Fresh mask, I used the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask (not pictured). I love the combo of the Fresh Rose Mask and Laneige Water Sleeping Mask – my skin feels soft, looks smooth and plump and is nicely hydrated!
@itsfi This sounds like a lovely masking combo– especially the Laniege and Fresh masks! 👌 The Fresh Rose mask is definitely one of my favorites! 👍
@Shosh85 The Fresh and Laneige masks are great for hydration; my skin loves them. ❤️
@keana1 the OH Cold Plunge is a nice one; I really like the cooling effect! ❤️ Oh, I think you'd love the Fresh and Laneige masks - they're both so hydrating. With my dehydrated skin, I can use them both year round, but I've found that they both are super effective at keeping my skin hydrated and moisturized during the winter months. Break them out and give 'em a go! 🙂
@IndyQT317 Both the OH Cold Plunge and the Fresh Rose Mask were great. Funny thing about the Fresh Rose Mask is that I've never had to purchase a full size of it - there seems to always be a DS or travel size of it available at Sephora, whether as a point perk, promo code, or as part of their sets. 🙂
Great mask choices @itsfi! 😄 the cold plunge sounds like the perfect summer mask, I can’t wait to hear if
you have another great experience on the second use! 😄 The rose mask is one of the best! It really does leave the skin feeling so nice and hydrated 😊
Me too @bakeamuffin! I'm debating whether I should just use the OH on my nose again or all over my face the second time around. I guess it'll depend on my mood and how my skin is doing at the time.
Oh yes, I agree! That Fresh Rose Mask is a lovely one! Keeps my skin hydrated and happy year round!
Great masking!! I haven't used the OH mask but it does sound like a prospect!! Of course, you finished off with one of my favorites, Laneige Water mask. I'm sure your skin is saying "ahhh"!!!!😁
You heard my skin say "ahhhh!", @yankeefaithful?!?! LOL! That Laneige water sleeping mask is amazing. It's the first sleeping mask I ever used and remains one of my favorites.
I'm having OLE FOMO with everyone using the Cold Plunge mask! Sounds like a great duo @itsfi
The OH Cold Plunge is really living up to its claims and the raves here @Aaliaa! Is it available as a point perk in Canada? If not and you are interested in trying it out, just let me know.
I did this Korres AHAs and Enzyme Resurfacing mask tonight. It was a deluxe sample that came in my order today and I wasted no time in trying it out. The result was nice and I liked that it has both chemical and physical exfoliation. However, the scent switches between pleasant and sweet to sorta vomit-y and then back to sweet and then back to vomit. 🤢 You only keep this on for five minutes so I was pretty happy to wash this off!
