Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@itsfi the peeling has started! My feet are going to be so smooth once this process is complete, thank you so much!!! 😄😄❤️ 

Did you use lotion, or oil, or anything, or just leave them with socks on?

The recommendation in normally not to use any moisturizing products as that can slow or stop the peeling process, especially anything with oil in it @bakeamuffin

@bakeamuffin I just used this foot mask last last sunday and my feet are currently peeling 🙂 it's both incredibly gross and yet oddly intriguing...it's crazy hot and humid in the northeast right now but I'm wearing socks and sneakers because the peeling skin is terrifying to look at it 🙂 The new skin underneath is soft and lovely, but my feet look like they're simultaneously molding and molting 🙂

This is the perfect description @MissPuff!! I did one about a week ago too and since yesterday its been intriguingly gross. It says not to pull or force the peeling and to avoid moisturizing products so my feel look pretty darn disgusting atm.

@Aaliaa Ahhhhhh!!! I wrote that on Tuesday and even today(!!!) there are a few final bits of skin still sticking on the sides of my feet. Around Wed/Thurs, I couldn't stand it anymore and did a long foot soak in warm water to soften things up a bit and rubbed with a wet towel to take off the loose bits. This actually helped a bunch, which no negative affect that I can see, and sped up with whole molting process. I also couldn't resist peeling off a few chunks here and there but frustratingly, most the skin came off in little bits rather than large pieces, so that was ineffective. Yes, TMI 🙂

BUT! The grossness is worth it (and ugh, it was so so so gross at one point), because my skin looks BEAUTIFUL now 🙂 Well, as beautiful as feet can be...

It took 9 days for my feet to start peeling after the Tony Moly foot mask, so don't give up hope if it seems slow! The results were pretty nice though 👍 @bakeamuffin

Most impotently how was the donut @bakeamuffin!!! 😂 😂 😂 Just JK, I've used the Changing Magic Foot mask before and was impressed with the results. I will say it took more then 3-4 days for the peeling to occur so FYI.

Thanks, I’ll keep that noted! It seems to have a bit of variation but the package does say “you will have smooth and soft feet in about two weeks.” so I was going I open minded with these 😊

I’ve used the foot peels before with great results, @bakeamuffin. You’ll definitely get a ton of peeling around day 3 (or I did!). Always nice to have “lady feet” for summer 😂

I hope you’ll like the tumeric one as well, I almost didnt get it but couldn’t resist it’s claims to help soothe acne and dryness, but it was actually really great!

Love your masking setup here, @bakeamuffin! 💖 It's perfect for some "me" time. That donut looks delish! It's making me want one now! Just remember when the peeling is supposed to start. The first time I used a foot peeling mask I forgot and was taken aback when I saw all the flakes on my shoes! 😂

I’m looking forward to ultra soft and smooth feet though, thank you so much for these!! ❤️  I really wanted to try peeling ones so this was definitely a real treat 😊

LOL!  The first time I tried a foot peeling mask and the peeling action started, I was walking around the house trying to figure out why there were all this debris and flakes on the floor and where they were coming from.  When I realized they were coming from my feet, I was both horrified and confused, like "what is going on?"  I calmed down after I finally realized the peeling mask actually worked.  hahaha!  Then I went to grab a pair of socks.  😉
