Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

I really have not used it much @eshoe I think getting lost in the sample drawer, but after last night, I realized it's a skin saver lol

I feel like this mask rescued me tonight @Shosh85 it reminded me of putting aloe on a burn. once it absorbed, my face felt so calm

Oh wow! That sounds great @Imaster. I haven't tried that one before. I wonder if I have a sample of it somewhere.

I used these masks over the weekend. I used the Origins Retexturizing mask Sat morning. It was very exfoliating and left my skin a little dry. I want to try it some more before I give a more in depth review. Sat night I used the Leaders Calming mask because I was getting really itchy (not sure if it was my allergies or a reaction to the Origins mask). I liked this one. It seemed to help with the itchiness for a little while. I have yet to find a Leaders sheet mask I don't like. Sun night I used the PTR Irish Moor Mud mask. This one is very purifying. I like how my skin felt after but it was so hard to wash off. I definitely had to follow up with hydrating products after it. This is not one of my favorite masks so I'll probably let my bf finish it because he enjoys it.

This Leaders mask looks right up my alley, @Lazybeautybeast! Sounds like the retexturizing mask might have been a bit much for your skin, I will be interested to hear what you think after a few more uses.

@Lazybeautybeast, I love the PTR Irish Moor Mud Mask! 😊 One of my faves. I’ve tried several of the Leaders mask in that line and really like them as well - I do agree with you, Leaders makes some great sheet masks!

Great masking @Lazybeautybeast! Quick tip about the PTR, take a face towel and run it under some hot water. When you are ready to remove the mask, place it on your face for 10 seconds and wipe away the mask, it comes off really easily.

the coconut mask sounds nice! @Lazybeautybeast I have very oily skin and when I used the origins mask, I really loved it. not too much will dry my skin out. the PTR I've never tried, I have not tried many mud masks at all 🤔

I enjoyed it @lmaster. My skin is combo. I think the Origin's mask was just a little more...intense (for lack of a better word) than I was anticipating. It was the first time trying it so hopefully next time is better.

@Lazybeautybeast The Origins Retexturizing Mask has the same effect on my skin. Leaves my skin very dry and almost tight feeling.

Good to know @GG84. I needed a good exfoliation but I don't think the serum and moisturizer I used after was enough to combat the dryness. I definitely want to try it again before the dry winter weather moves in.
