Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@eshoe These all look and sound great!! The Face Shop mask sounds like something I'd like – anything Propolis/honey does great on my skin!👍 I haven't seen that DE recipe before!! I'll definitely have to give that a try sometime!! 🙌

Wow it was amazing, @itsfi! Seems like almost every time I open a mask you sent, I am in disbelief  at how good it is. You have been so helpful in steering me in the right masking direction😉

Kept it simple last night with my masking choices. These are ones I have posted about and incorporate into my masking routine with some frequency. 

The Sunday Riley Saturn Acne Treatment is amazing for getting rid of zits - thank you, @mermadelove for gifting this DS to me. I rotate this SR mask with some other masks as a spot treatment for pesky blemishes. This one works wonders on speeding up the healing process and disappearing act for acne. This is a pretty large sample that will last me a while but if I ran out, I'd pick up a full size of this one. I love, love, LOVE the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. I applied that all over, avoiding the spot on my forehead that where the SR Acne Treatment was working its magic on, and while I was waiting for the sleeping mask to absorb, I applied the Lip Scrub by Sara Happ - the lemonade flavor is one of my favorites; sadly, it was LE so I will be making the most of this jar. Just before turning of the lights, I applied the Jo Malone Vitamin E Lip Conditioner. This morning, my lips are soft, the zit on my forehead is flattened and on its way to healing and my skin looks and feels soft, smooth and hydrated.

@itsfi  These all sound great!! The Laneige sleep mask is a favorite, and I keep thinking I'll get the Sara Happ Lip scrub, but it'll have to be in different flavor. It's always great to have a perfect spot treatment! Glad these all work for you!!😊

These all look great!! The lip products you used sound wonderful! I don't think I was even aware Jo Malone made lip scrubs, haha! 😂🤔

I think I have a sample or two of that SR that I keep forgetting about – I really need to give it try sometime! 👍🤗

The lip scrub is from Sara Happ - so good and there’s a lot in it. The JM lip balm is nice, really emollient. The SR Saturn acne treatment is sooo good @Shosh85! Would love to know your thoughts on it if you try it out.

@itsfi, sounds like everything here did just what it needed to to help alleviate that pesky blemish and keep your skin happy! Seems to me you have a couple of those Sara Happ lip scrubs, I remember searching for them awhile back after reading your 🙌🏼 words about it. The lemon sounds very nice, of COURSE it’s LE;)

IKR @lmaster? I really wish she’d bring back the lemonade one. She has other flavors that are very nice (ie red velvet, creme brûlée, etc), but that lemonade one!!!

@itsfi you are welcome! FYI that is not a deluxe sample. That’s the one from the space race kit! I usually get a kit every time there is a sale because SR space race is my holy grail! Saturn works great as a spot treatment overnight too!

tonight I used a sample from my play! box and I have to say, this is another favorite of mine. it's the FAB Ginger and turmeric vitamin c jelly mask. I had a reaction I'm thinking too the foundation stick I used today. I had a bunch of little bumps over my forehead, and around my Temple area. it was the flesh foundation stick,, anyway I used this mask and it said to leave it on for 10 min, I left it on for 20. it at first burned a bit due to my irritation, but almost immediately I felt relief. it is supposed to moisturize, brighten and restore your skin. and it did just that. I wiped it off with a warm damp makeup eraser, and my irritation had subsided my skin was glowing and it felt nice and hydrated. will purchase full size!
