Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

I liked the Mahalo mask @CC3616; it seemed like it just made complexion look better overall; I’m just not sure how the scent would be for me. Will have to try it again another time.

Eucalyptus fibers is my E for yesterday. I dew care morning dewhydrating lotus flower mask. this was gifted from lovely @itsfi I reallyloved this eucalyptus fiber mask, it was easily applied, fit nicely. nowthe scent, was not my favorite, not sure if it's eucalyptus scent lol it did fade after having it on for about 5 minutes. I left it on for 15 minutes, and after removing, the serum was nicely absorbed, and Idefinitely felt hydrated! I liked this mask, however, I think there willbe better scented ones I'd reach for before this one, so with that beingsaid, loved the fiber mask, fit nicely and performed as it claims, I'll give it a B for scent.

Me three @veronika23 ! Eucalyptus usually makes my eyes water!

@veronika23 it wasn't too bad after I placed it in my face, but what I don't care for scent wise, you might.. I just couldn't figure out what the scent was either lol

I'm sensitive to a lot of scents so as soon as someone says they don't like it or it's too strong I usually stay away from that product. 😂 @lmaster

This makes me curious about this one, @lmaster, I may have to check it out. I don’t mind fragrance in masks, unless they are kinda hopeless ones like hospitals, bug spray, etc.😆 A good fit and essence mean a lot, glad your skin got some 💗 from this one!

@eshoe  I just couldn't pin point what the scent was, I don't believe I've ever used eucalyptus before, so I'm not sure if that's the scent I'm smelling or if it's something else 🤔

@lmaster, scent plays a big role in the masking experience, doesn't it? Eucalyptus is always hit or miss for me; this one has added fragrance in it as well so who knows what is causing the less than pleasant scent.

I tried another I dew care mask, and I sure don't remember this scent 😂 @itsfi I just don't know if I've ever smelled eucalyptus before lol

@lmaster I've almost bought this one a couple of times! The hydration of it sounds great, but because of my picky nose, (especially with floral things) Im kinda glad I didn't get it. Im happy to hear it gave you good results! 👍😊

@Shosh85  it was so good other than the scent, now once it's placed on the face, the scent does fade, so it's not something to judge just based off of scent, but when you open the package, it will hit you lol

@lmaster Good to know! I'm just super sensitive to scents, so when someone says the scent was strong or that it bothered them usually means it wouldn't be for me. 😉
