Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@Shosh85, I think a lot of us are working on clearing out our mask stash! LOL! I like the sound of the papaya scent! I'm glad you found a favorite bubble sheet mask, but I completely agree with you that I wouldn't go out of my way to find the mask to purchase it. BTW, your hair is looking lovely - healthy, long, shiny. 🙂

I really love the scent on this mask! It reminds of the Garnier Fructis Papaya Hair Mask I like to use sometimes! It is just such a refreshing smell!😍

You are seriously super AWESOME for commenting on my hair! Haha! Thank you so much! I have been trying to mask regularly and have noticed a big difference in strength and softness!🙌😊

@Shosh85, the Garnier Papaya hair mask smells amazing!!!! ❤️ ❤️ How often are you using a hair mask? Once a week? Twice a week? More frequently? Your efforts are totally paying off - your hair looks soooo nice! ❤️

@itsfi Have you already tried the Garnier Fructis mask? 

I mask about 2 – 3 times a week and it's definitely made a difference!!

You're very welcome @Shosh85, but I'm just letting you know what I see. Your hair looks so smooth and healthy. 🙂  

I found a foil of the Garnier Fruit hair mask - probably came in a box I previously subscribed to; there were 2 foils, a papaya one and another scent/flavor but I don't recall which one it was because I liked the papaya one better. 😉  Hmmm... 2-3 times per week, that is dedication! But it's paying off! At the moment, I'm trying to remember to use a hair mask 1x per week - I seem to fall in the camp of not using a hair mask for weeks, months to using one every few days for one week. No consistency there at all. Sigh. From now until the end of the year, I'll try to remember to use a hair mask 1x per week. Baby steps for me...

@itsfi I think once a week is great! I'm guessing I do it more often than most – I started out doing it once a week, but after I started seeing/feeling results I just became addicted! 😂😉

The foaming sheet mask pics are the best, @Shosh85😂 You are such a trooper. The papaya scent sounds pretty amazing, I’ve never had a mask that is scented like that. Doesn’t it feel good to be getting rid of the these, though?! Perfect for end of the year!

@eshoe These foaming/bubble masks are always entertaining, haha!

I actually really loved the papaya scent! It had papaya fruit extract, blueberry fruit extract, sugar cane extract, sugar maple extract, orange fruit extract and lemon fruit extract. These were listed about half way down and in that order – so it would make sense that I smell more papaya than anything else.👍

I agree, it definitely feels good to go through and clear out my stash! 👌🤗

Lovin' the blue color theme for your masks @eshoe - soothing, calming and by the looks of your great mask choices, hydrating! 🙂 I picked up that bliss oxygen mask at T.J. Maxx some time ago after seeing @Shosh85 post about it. I haven't broken it out just yet - trying to be good about going through all my opened masks first.

Lucky you to have picked it up there, @itsfi! I am still kicking myself for not buying the REN Evercalm when I saw it there a couple of months ago for around $15🙄

I hear ya; many a mask has been within reach only for me to forget that it's one I should purchase at such a deal!  I'm going to have to start a list of masks that are raved about on this thread and keep it with me. There have been countless times when I'm in a store and see a mask on sale and think "wait, did this get raves or rants?"

Lol me too, @itsfi, and for some strange reason, my phone never gets reception inside TJ’s. To make me laugh even more, after I ordered it the other night, I see on another thread the Rewards Bazaar update with the REN set 😂 Oh well, at least I get to continue stockpiling my points;)

@eshoe is the bliss the same thing as the belief pore foam cleaner? glad your masks worked out for you!

It’s very similar, @lmaster. I had a DS of the belif that I absolutely loved, but I just have too many cleansers to spend that much on another one right now! The belif does have a bit of exfoliation action, and of the two, I do prefer the belif, but it’s almost twice the price. When I use up all 3 of my bubbling cleansers (New Year’s goals) I will replace them with the belif. But this is the closest substitute I have found.
