Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@sonnydee, now I understand what you mean by weird feeling - the flapping would definitely be weird. You’ll be all set with smooth, soft feet for the holiday season!

Oh your poor feet @sonnydee!!!! But I felt a little ‘flap’ at one point, too, on the side of my foot. I checked. Just the skin😝. Looks like your feet will be pretty soft when this is over, though!!

@sonnydee, you mentioned your foot felt weird in the shower. Do you mean “weird” as in it felt sensitive because of the peeling or ... I guess I should have asked, how did it feel? I don’t normally feel it when it starts peeling - I typically see my feet shedding dead skin (and what a lovely sight that is! 🤪) and that usually happens a week-and-half to two weeks after I use foot masks. Hmmm...

ohhh nice! @lmaster. the tape sucks, still use it but lock everything down with socks. I left mine on for about 1 hr 45 min I got caught up in a movie & lost track of time. You'll be peelin' in no time!😎

Are your feet sensitive where they’re peeling @sonnydee ? I’ve never tried foot peels before! I wonder if it’s best to use them at the end of summer ( I like being barefoot in summer ) because I live in a cold climate and wear socks all the time except for summer!

They're not sensitive but I'm not sensitive to begin with. I would do it early fall, just when you start wearing socks (and you won't be barefoot). I just wouldn't want the peeling to snag on something. Socks would also help keep your mind off of it. I'm not having a hard time stopping myself from peeling it off more but I do catch myself rubbing my feet against each other at night & I feel the "peels" then. Hope that makes sense @keana1

I ended up skipping Sunday masking😶and doing my Sunday routine on Monday- Sephora polishing mask, a biore strip, new to me PTR 24k gold eye patches, they really hydrated my under eye!! Curious to see more lifting lasting results over the next several weeks! Burt’s bees lip mask which I’ve used previously and did not like due to the mask material itself not staying flat! But it really does moisturizer nicely, I wore TF liquid matte today and my lips still feel good! I also used the lush bubble gum lip scrub, DE glycolic night serum and caviar scalp scrub💕

@SAlyFitz, that’s great that you have a corresponding masking routine for the days of the week. 😊 I may have to try that out for 2019. For lip masks that don’t stay put or lay flat, I’ve found that it helps if I wear them under a sheet mask.

It’s pretty much just a Sunday routine and I really think of it as a reset of products I rarely change and mostly just focus on degunking my skin/resurfacing at night, i think it’s been working well to ensure I have that as part of my routine. I really bet using a sheet mask over would help me enjoy that lip mask, of course I am out of them now but I’m sure they’ll be a sale where I need to add $2 to a cart lol

Tonight I am using The Creme Shop Clear Up Skin mask

I am getting some small bumps on my skin, so I am hoping this mask will help some. It fits my face perfect and no adjustments are needed. It smells so nice too.
