Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

So much great info on skincare I’ve been wanting to know about, @eshoe! 😃 Thank you!!  I’ve been wondering about those H2O+ sheet masks for some time (of course I didn’t know about them when they had a storefront near me - sigh 😔) so it’s very  helpful to know you’ve been pleased with both masks you’ve tried from the brand! I’ve also been interested in how the reformulated version of Sunday’s Riley’s Ceramic Slip performs on dry skin types. I really don’t need to like more skincare 🤣 but I’m glad to know the cleanser works well for you - and happy to learn of a new mask to be had with it. 👍🏼  I found some some of the LE holiday masks from The Creme Shop a couple of months ago and snagged them up to gift. 💝☺️

I am so disappointed I didn’t try the Sunday Riley mask prior to the reformulation @itsfi; only because I have nothing to compare it to😉

I was so, so excited to open my first mask and find one of the holiday Crème Shops!!! I have yet to find to find them at my store, and I stop in at least once a week. So a huge, great big hug and thank you🎄🎁💖

Side note, it’s Saturday night and almost brush cleaning time. I asked my daughter what she would like to talk about, and without skipping a beat she answered, “How about the next package we’re sending itsfi?”

Oh my goodness!!! 🥰 Your daughter is amazing @eshoe! 💗 So much goodness in that one. You absolutely do not need to send me a package at all. Such a sweet, sweet thought from an awesome girl! 🤗 I had the best time picking up things for her along the way - it made it easier when I found that box; then everything could be placed in it as I was collecting things. 😊

@itsfi All of these sound so good! I just l love the Aloe theme – it has always been great for my dry skin! I own a few of the Tosowoong masks and I'm most excited to try the Propolis one!

I've wondered about the Herb In Nude masks! I like the sound of apple mint tea and cellulose is my fave! The only Herb In Nude masks I own are a couple from the "We Bare Bears" line. Glad to hear you you liked this one!

The We Bare Bears line was soooo cute @Shosh85! I love that the material on those sheet masks were the same as the Herb in Nude masks.

Excellent masking choices @itsfi! I especially love the way the Herb in Nude mask sounds. Think I know that line, seems familiar...I just did a little search and it looks like the bundle would be really fun to try, lots of great options and at a reasonable price! Thanks for the reviews😊

Thank you @eshoe! I think when I initially purchased these masks I went with the bundle. I’d probably still pick up the bundle - the masks in the line have been all quite good!

Which mask bundle would you repurchase first @itsfi, the Missha or the Tosowoong?

@eshoe, that’s a hard one because I really like some masks in the lines. If you’ve never tried either, I say go for the Missha Herb In Nude ones first because they are more difficult to get a hold of and misshaus(dot)com is having 30% off sale right now. I think they ship from overseas so it may take a while to get to you, just fyi. Of the masks in this line, I really like the Nutrition Care one and the Vitality Care one.

Tosowoong makes fab sheet masks (I’m partial to the pure propolis 🍯 and pure snail 🐌  (I know, not a top pick for many), but it’s easier to get your hands on those sheet masks (amazon or peachandlily(dot)com).

Thank you so much for your thoughts, @itsfi! I checked my stash, and sure enough, the We Bare Bear collab with Cartoon Network (of all things!) is a MIssha ‘in Nude’ mask that I have and loved😉

The mask feels so soft on @lmaster and there’s a lot of serum but it doesn’t feel heavy or oversaturated at all! 💗

Trying to catch up has been the story of my life lately! Haha! My boys have been waking up in the middle of the night for the past 2 weeks now and I've just been exhausted! – (This isn't usual for them, it started when they got sick and still haven't been able to get out of the habit) I haven't felt like doing much of anything, so my masking has been on hold for awhile. I finally got motivation for masking when I received an incredibly thoughtful and amazing gift from the wonderful @itsfi! I have now received two of these When masks from her! I first learned of this mask from the awesome @eshoe! and I've been so excited to try it!

This is a biocellulose mask, (which happens to be my favorite material!) and is sandwiched between two protective layers. It fit pretty good, just a little long at the forehead and chin. There was plenty of serum on the mask and in the package. Not quite sure about the scent –I think it had a sort of clean and fresh scent but didn't smell anything when it was on. I kept it on for about a half-hour and it was super comfortable the whole time. When I peeled the mask away, most of the serum was already absorbed and my face felt just slightly sticky/tacky. It didn't take long for the tackiness to fade though and my skin was left feeling soft, smooth, and rejuvenated. My complexion looked brighter and clearer and my skin felt comfortably hydrated!

When I woke up this morning, my face looked bright and even a little glowy!

I am happy I have another one to try! I think I'll save that for a Christmas party I have coming up!

@Shosh85 are there different kinds of when masks? I hope your boys get back in to their sleeping routine! I know when mine get sick, it's like starting all over again!!

It definitely does feel like we have to start all over when they get sick! It seems to be getting a little better though! 🤞
