Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@sonnydee I’m glad that you had the chance to try both Omorovicza products and that they gave you great results! But darn it this line of products is so expensive! 🤑🤑🤑 !

yes it is, that's why I was happy that my face can use the ultramoor & the EE was to much like AP creme to justify buying it. I love my AP & already got a full size. 😁 @keana1

I also love AP products but the cream isn’t moisturizing enough for my dry skin @sonnydee ! It might be fine for summer but def not for winter in my case !

@keana1  it's much cheaper to buy in the UK. That's where I buy it and usually wait for a sale or deals as well. Like the thermal cleansing balm I think is 135$ cad... I got a kit with the same size, plus a travel size of the facial polish and a mini of the ultramoor for around 60$ cad.  That kit is still available but where I bought it they jacked the price after the oct pre-order... but still cheaper than buying here. Bath & Unwind usually has the lowest price for Omorovicza and does a lot of 20% sales... if ever you wanna know more just pm me. 🙂

I’ll be checking this out @veronika23 I’ve never heard of Bath&Unwind ! Thank you so much 😊! The prices in the UK must be lower because of their free trade agreement with other European countries, but unfortunately the Brexit bill passed so if we want to order anything from the UK ( that’s imported from other European countries ) we have to act before Brexit is implemented ! ( that might take a while though! )

@veronika23, I have heard of Bath & Unwind but have never ordered through them; good to know it's an option. My list of things to try next year (after making a dent in my current supply) is getting longer and longer ... hahaha! 🙂

@itsfi  I definitely recommend signing up for their emails. That's how I know about all the deals... plus sometimes they have specials for email subscribers. I think last year you could get this awesome Omorovicza gwp with a very low buy in. Sometimes the buy in is higher than I would want... but I think they get stuck with too much inventory and try to liquidate what's left so the buy in drops. So getting their email is a great way to see these things. 🙂

I was wondering what you would think of the Deep Cleansing Mud. Interesting that’s it gentler than the Ultramoor (which I loved at one point but is now much too drying for me skin). Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

@eshoe It seemed more gentle, it didnt make my face as tight. that's why I wouldn't *need* both, this & the ultramoor

@eshoe  you find it too drying? I didn't feel like it was... I'll pay even closer attention next time.  Also sometimes when I use like a deep cleaning mask or anything that's not hydrating I will follow with a hydrating mask... So I do masks back to back. 😄

Oooh good tip @veronika23. Usually I just use the clay/drying masks on my forehead/chin/nose and a hydrating one on my cheeks as they tend to be sensitive though not overly so.

Yes, I recently used a sample of the Ultramoor and it felt very drying. I didn’t remember it being that way when I used it in the past, so I attribute it to the changes in my skin (no longer normal/combo but dry now). Love the consistency though.

Today I finally decided to retry the FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask with Echinacea GreenEnvy™. The first time I tried this mask, I had such a bad experience. I had used the Herbivore Blue Tansy BHA and Enzyme Pore Refining Mask 2 oz/ 60 mLjust before using the Honey Potion Mask and my face was burning 🥵! ( don’t try this, ever ! ) . Today’s experience was great! No burning, just a little warming sensation! I left it on for 15 minutes before rinsing it off. My skin was well hydrated and soft! I have to admit that I was a little scared about trying it again but today I found it wonderful! My lips still needed pampering so I used the BKR - Paris Water Balmall day !Sunday
