Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@keana1 I've been curious about these and the 24k gold ones and have wondered how they compare. Have you tried the gold ones? These sound great! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed them! 👍

I have the gold ones also! I only tried 1 pair that were samples but I really enjoyed them. I could compare them eye to eye once I almost finish the Water Drench ones. I haven’t opened the jar containing the gold ones yet. @Shosh85

 Ohhhhh... I feel like these are the type of quick mask that I need in my life.  I'd like to find something super hydrating for my under eye area (I don't wear a ton on base products, but I do wear a colour corrector and concealer under my eyes, so the hydration is nice to keep it from looking crepey).  @keana1

These sound really nice @keana1! Not a huge fan of eye patches but will keep this in mind if ever I purchase some.

These eye patches have some nice hydrating and brightening ingredients in them @keana1.💗 Good word on the shelf life to these; I need to check on my progress on mine.

❤️ these eye patches @itsfi ! I wanted to let all of you know about the short shelf life since Sephora doesn’t mention it ! It would be great if they did!

Tuesday I used the Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels that @eshoe sent me ( Thanks shoe 😉 ! ) These contain acetylpeptide-8 ( AKA argireline ) , copper tripeptide which relax fine lines. While I was wearing the eye gels, I covered my eyes with the Meg Rhythm Steam Eye Mask ( Thanks @itsfi ! ) which are quite relaxing. So I went to bed in order to “ power nap “ and ended falling asleep, woke up 3 hours later 🙄 ! After removing both masks my fine lines weren’t visible and my eyes looked well rested. Both deserve an A/A+. After my PM skincare routine I used the GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask

which is one of my favorite overnight masks since it’s very moisturizing, smells lovely ( clean fragrance ) and also contains PHA’s which are gentle exfoliants. Grade A+. To seal in the moisture provided by the Avocado Melt, I applied a fine layer of the Hylamide HA Blur which can also be used as a primer ( see ingredients list ). Woke up the next day to happy 😊, moisturized, hydrated skin! TuesdayHylamide HA Blur ingredients list

I’m glad that you enjoy it @lmaster ! It’s perfect for this time of year! Normally I would have waited for a smaller size one but I’m so glad that I didn’t wait! I don’t think that GR came out with a smaller version yet? ( only the DS )
