Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

I'm getting sick just thinking about "nail salon scent."  Good thing it dissipated!

Today’s masking session: I started off by using the TO AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling solution and left it on for 20 minutes before rinsing it off. To hydrate and moisurize my skin I used the JMsolution Water Luminous Silky Cocoon Mask which contains silkworm extract, silk amino acids, 4 different forms of hyaluronic acid and other great ingredients ( peptides, vit.C, pearl extract etc... ) The mask is saturated with a stringy serum which I expected it to be because @eshoe had tried and reviewed this mask a few months ago. I left it on for about 75 minutes instead of the recommended 20-30 minutes. Upon removal my skin was very hydrated and moisturized but felt a bit sticky so I applied a light moisturizer ( Drunk Elephant Protini™ Polypeptide Firming Refillable Moisturizer 1.69 oz/ 50 mL) on top. I kept the remaining serum in a jar for future use. I would use this mask again & again especially for dry winter skin! ❤️

Is that the BKR - Paris Water Balm@keana1? I have a lotta 💖 for that one! I’m glad the sheet mask gave your skin some love and TLC. You could use the extra serum with one of those ‘candies’ I sent you😉

Yes, it’s the BKR Paris Water Balm @eshoe . I can’t believe that I already hit pan and we’re only in early January! I’m saving the remaining serums for that exact reason! To soak up the “candies “ that you were so kind to send me 🙄 ! I still feel embarrassed about trying to bite into one! 🤦🏻‍♀️ LOL 😂!

I’m sure that you’ll enjoy it @lmaster . It’s a bit messy when you remove the mask from the pouch though so make sure that you do it over your bathroom sink! 😜

Upon returning from my parents house, in the evening of Dec 27 th, I started having a sinus cold which was followed a few days later with the flu. During that period I only used sleeping masks to nourish my skin. I used the Hello Calm mask ( Thank you so much @itsfi 🤗 ! ) many times, the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask, the GlamGlow Thirstymud mask and applied the Elensilia Escargot Original Repair Cream which has a texture similar to a lightweight ointment. All of these were perfect for my dry/very dry winter skin! 👌 Thanks again Fi ! 😘
