Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@itsfi  This was the first in the line for me, but I have several others that came in a pack of 5(?) featuring one each of several versions, so I'm interested to see how the others compare.

Late to post this, but here is what my boyfriend and I did on NYE. The kitty wanted to join in, too. I used the Spa Life one. The sheet was so thick, I couldn't get it to stay stuck to my face, unfortunately. The eye holes also felt really small, almost misaligned. I don't know that I would get another one from this brand, but I think I might have one hiding in my stash. I'll pay attention to see if it's just the mask type or the brand that sucks. BF used the honey one. He said he liked it. Directions say to wash it off, but he didn't and things seemed to be fine.

Sorry to hear about the Spa Life mask! I've never had much luck with that brand. This one definitely sounds like it wasn't too great.

I have tried that Lanocreme Honey Mask before and liked it as well! Glad to hear you BF did too! 🍯👍

@snoflakefaerie, it seems like the Spa Life face masks are just thick across the board. I prefer the thinner masks; they adhere better for me. The honey sheet mask your BF used and that Mamonde lip mask look good! 😃

No, @snoflakefaerie the brand sucks for face sheet masks. I've tried 3, all the same problem. Too thick to stick. HAHAHA. Also tried their foot masks & eye gels those are good.

A couple days worth of masks - following through with my daily sheet masking! I've been trying to stay with the "B" them this week; i actually really, really, love this alphabet option, @eshoe 🙂

B = "Babyface"B = "Banobagi", which i'm assuming is the brand name

Sunday night i used the Babyface Injection mask, i believe was purchased from Facetory. Then, last night, I used the Banobagi Milk Thistle mask. I'm going to review them together because they were very, very, oddly, similar. First, both of these masks fit great; a little long at the chain, but i prefer that when i'm masking in bed so i can wrap it under my jaw. Additionally, they were both very *wet* , which, sounds gross but actually felt super cooling and relaxing. They didn't dry up until about the 45 minute mark. I think it's so interesting that almost all these masks say to leave on 20 min when they last much longer. Do you guys find that, too? I guess it could be different from face to face. Anyway, after using either mask my skin felt very bouncy and moisturized - wonderful! I would repurchase either of these masks 🙂

I've seen the Baby Face Mask a lot and have always wondered about it! I think I've always passed it up because I didn't like the needle picture on the front! Ha!

 It haven't tried the Milk Thistle mask before, but sounds great! I have tried a couple other Banobagi masks and really liked them! Happy to hear these turned out well for you!🙌

I have both of those masks and now I’m excited to try them @scott1201! Good to know about the serum, I’ll plan on using them on a night when I can just sit still for a bit. Edited to add: I’m so glad you like the alphabet add-on @scott1201! It seems like it’s been helpful so far which is exactly what we were going for, yay👍🏼😄
