Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

Photos still on the fritz! For "B" I used DE baby facial today. I actually forgot it was "B" week after seeing it this morning and thinking that I should use a "B" mask today, but luckily I happened to grab for one. This is still relatively new to me, I think my 4th or 5th use. I held off for a long time because my routine was working and I have things similar, although not as high concentrations. I'm glad I made the jump to try it! I have been using once every 2-3 weeks, I think once I did use it a couple weeks in a row around the holidays for some extra boost and it wasn't too much, but since I want to use other open acids in my stash too I probably won't use it more than once a week. I definitely see results that last a few days.

Another "B" mask with the Peach Slices Brighten sheet mask 🙂

I purchased two Peach Slices masks during holiday sales (if i remember correctly they were BOGO at CVS with free shipping!) and they got lost in the shuffle of my giant, accidental, mask hauls 😄 . In the past i think @eshoe and @Shosh85 have talked about these so when i was flipping through my mask drawer last night and spotted it i knew it was perfect!

So this mask had a really creamy serum - definitely not what i was expecting from a "brightening" mask. It reminded me of the Dr. Jart Ceramidin mask; lotion-y but not too thick. The fit was great and i fell asleep before it noticed it drying up. I'm not sure if there was a scent since my nose started to get stuffy yesterday. This morning though, wow! My face wasn't just moisturized but looked really awake 🙂 I don't think it's possible to get a brighter face with one mask but the combination of Advil Cold & Sinus, It Works! Sleep pillow mist and this mask definitely helped me get an awake complexion today. I have another Peach Slices mask (hydrating, i think) but i would repurchase this flavor for sure!

I don't think I've tried the one yet @scott1201, but I love love love the Hydrate one. Target is carrying them now too and although you don't need them, there is a $5 GC with a $15 beauty purchase 😉 I will be trying this one this year, it sounds awesome!

@scott1201 I bought a few Peach Slices masks from that last really good sale they had! I know I have this one and the hydrating one as well! I've heard such positive reviews on these, I'm super excited to try them! This one sounds excellent! I could definitely use more masks that make my complexion look more awake! 😉👌🤗

carries these masks @scott1201! Though you may not need any more masks for a while. 😂 Love the masks with the creamy serums when the weather gets cold - so moisturizing for the skin! 👍🏼

I'm loving the sound of this mask!  I'll have to check and see if theres a CVS on the US side of the boarder right by my home!  I'm curious if theres any type of peachy scent.  I'm in love with peaches lately lol!  Glad to hear you're looking better even if not feeling the best!

My first weekly masking!  On Saturday I had a shower and used the Amika Triple Mask on my hair.  I usually use this as more of a conditioner, I left it on for about 10 minutes while I sat in the shower... ya I know... lol but it was a long day and sometimes you just gotta sit in the shower lol.  After I showered I used the Tony Moly I'm real Avocado Sheet Mask.  This was my first Tony Moly mask and I quite enjoyed it.  My skin felt great after and the mask wasn't as big on my face as others I've tried in the past.  I bought this last week at Ulta when I saw I was only three dollars away from Diamond status, and it was on sale for 1.75.  I'm wishing I'd have bought all of the ones they had.  I might be getting into this sheet masking thing!  The Bite Agave Lip mask is a favourite of mine (I love how thick it feels and how it's still on my lips in the morning after using it before bed. It was reallly nice to spend some "me" time masking on Saturday... I'm going to try and do this twice this week with some "B" products!

@missjeanie This is a nice trio of masks! Love the Bite lip masks!! It definitely stays on your lips well! I love all the new flavors they have come out with!

That Amika hair mask is one of my most favorites and I always try and buy whenever I see it at TJ Maxx! 👍😉

That's exactly where I picked up mine!  I'm hoping that I see it there some more often too.  I'm currently enjoying the Candy Cane flavour in my purse, the natural on my bedside table, and a broken tube of the red on my counter for day.  I think the only one I haven't tried yet is the lavender.... and I noticed the Canadian site still has a few of the mini sets on sale.... lol
