Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@Shosh85 thanks for the review on the eye patches. I would not kind the patch Cover the full eye, but agree on the eyebrow being covered. I may look into those.

@IndyQT317 The results were great and they're fun to use, but the patches themselves were just bulky and difficult to place. I'm going to play around with them a bit and see if folding them over makes them easier to use. 👍😉

Thanks, @veronika23!! The lip mask was only $2.50 from Walmart, so I'm not too heartbroken. Haha! 😉 It was actually pretty funny🤣

Sorry that your lip mask decided to kiss the floor @Shosh85! instead of staying put! I really don’t know if I’d enjoy using the TM eye patch just because I’m used to under eye patches? But you’re a cute panda 🐼!

@keana1 Haha, thank you! I definitely prefer under eye ones a lot more – I will probably fold these in half, so they are just covering the under eye. They were only a couple dollars for a 5 pack, so considering that, they're not too bad.😉

The lip mask not only kissed the floor, it downright smooched it! Haha! The smacking noise it made was so loud! Haha! 😂💋

I can imagine the smacking noise @Shosh85 😂 Too funny 😂! I thought that you only had one eye mask, it’s nice to know that you can experiment with the other four!

@Shosh85  You look so cute wearing both these masks! Lip mask specially looks very interesting. I keep meaning to try it sometime but haven’t bough5 it yet.

@fatimamummy The lip masks are pretty fun, but really, unless you do a good lip plumping one, chapsticks or lip balm will give you better and more long lasting results. If you decide to do a hydrogel one like this, you might have better luck keeping them on if you're lying down or wearing it under a face mask. They're also great for girls night! 😉💋👍

Adorbs @Shosh85! So funny about the hydrogel lip gels - those definitely work better under a sheet mask. 😄 I like the Sephora lip masks because they’re made out of cotton so they adhere better for me.

Week 5 - Jan 28  - Feb 3 - "E" - Lip, Hand or Foot Masks to Help Winter Skin

Last night’s masking session started with the tarte Mini Knockout Tingle Treatment Toner 1.7 oz/ 50 mL and the Jo Malone Vitamin E Lip Conditioner, and then 2 masks gifted to me by our fabulous @eshoe , the Oozoo Power Capsule Mask (Lightening) and the Oh K! Intense Moisture Violet Flower Hand Mask.

The Tarte tingling treatment is a nice one @missjeanie; 😃 it has been doing wonders for the clogged pores I’m prone to getting along my jawline. It’s funny - I’m beginning to experiment with using different exfoliating products for different areas of my face sometimes - Tarte on my neck, chin, jawline and nose; the new Kate Somerville one on my forehead and cheeks. I wonder if multi-exfoliating is a thing? LOL! 😂

@itsfi multi-exfoliating... I love that!  I usually rotate my night time chemical exfoliants, but now I'm wondering if I could figure out a multi-exfoliating routine.  I'm gonna need to think about how I can try this.
