Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masksπ
@eshoe Oh I mean thereβs always so many masks to try and they all canβt be the best of the best! Iβm going to the city this weekend so I am hoping I can find some new to me ones!! My husband is hoping to test a new foot mask! Iβll report back!! I find the city has way more choices and Iβll break my no buy for masks if I find something good!!
That is so exciting, @ather! I think I would be counting down the days to the weekend if I were going mask-hunting π Good luck, I hope you find some hidden gems!
These are great. The green tea one is one I pick up whenever I see it.
@nuinui933 Oooo green tea is one of my favourite ingredients!! I bet itβs a great mask!!
@ather I feel you on getting through the stash π€£π€£
@lmaster Itβs so hard when I see so many good ones coming out!!
@ather, I love these Etude House 0.2mm masks. It's easy to see why they've been around for so long - though I often wonder why it took me so long to discover them. π Maybe because I was working through a pile of other sheet masks. π€£ I have a few mask packs that I love for daily masking but these EH 0.2mm masks are the ones I would use for daily masking of the individual sheet mask type. Completely hear you on wishing there was more of a lemon scent to this one. π
@itsfi I didnβt realize they had a different line. Hmmmm I need to get through my stash but I may need to check out all the other masks they have!!!
@ather, I think that the 0.2mm line has been around for some time and is the more well known and possibly most popular sheet mask range in the Etude House collection. They recently underwent a redesign on the packaging and with it, a change in the number of varieties of sheet masks offered in the line, At one point last year there were 22 or 23 βflavorsβ and maybe 5 different types of serums.
The 2021/2022 redesign has 11 masks and 3 different types of serums. Here are some snapshots from the Etude House site:
I do wish they brought back the other two types of serums - they were great for my dry skin. I love all the masks with the emulsion serum - theyβre are wonderful. All the serums are fine really, the ampoule ones tend to leave a tacky-to-the-touch feel - it goes away but itβs there immediately upon removing the mask. β
Sorry for going and on. π¬ Weβre talking skincare, I could go on and on. π
@itsfi Darn why do they always discontinue all the good masks?? I also could go on and on about skincare. Itβs always my favourite topic! I wonder if there is any difference between the old and the new ones on how they preform. I always hate when they change the formula.
@ather it sounds very refreshing for summer π
V is for Vasanti BrightenUp Miracle Mask.
itβs made with charcoal, turmeric , papaya, clay and butters - shea and cocoa
it works to deep clean, brighten, and hydrate the skin.
I found it to be wonderful, it went on smoothly and came off easily with warm water.
My face felt so soft, smooth and clean. I had no issues with the mask.
Itβs a 2.6 oz tube so I can enjoy it several times in the future.
This sounds like a very interesting mask, @Cissy63. Usually masks with charcoal and clay *tend* to be a little stubborn to remove. Love that this one was a breeze!
@lmaster Thank you. It was very good!!
@Cissy63, those sound like a great set of ingredients for a mask. π Glad to hear it's one that your skin likes.
@itsfi Thank you! It was really good!!
@Cissy63 Glad you found a good mask!
@CookieGirl1 Thank you!! π
