Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@ather, I love these Etude House 0.2mm masks. It's easy to see why they've been around for so long - though I often wonder why it took me so long to discover them. πŸ˜‚ Maybe because I was working through a pile of other sheet masks. πŸ€£ I have a few mask packs that I love for daily masking but these EH 0.2mm masks are the ones I would use for daily masking of the individual sheet mask type. Completely hear you on wishing there was more of a lemon scent to this one. πŸ‹

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi  I didn’t realize they had a different line. Hmmmm I need to get through my stash but I may need to check out all the other masks they have!!!

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@ather, I think that the 0.2mm line has been around for some time and is the more well known and possibly most popular sheet mask range in the Etude House collection. They recently underwent a redesign on the packaging and with it, a change in the number of varieties of sheet masks offered in the line, At one point last year there were 22 or 23 β€œflavors” and maybe 5 different types of serums.

The 2021/2022 redesign has 11 masks and 3 different types of serums. Here are some snapshots from the Etude House site:

I do wish they brought back the other two types of serums - they were great for my dry skin. I love all the masks with the emulsion serum - they’re are wonderful. All the serums are fine really, the ampoule ones tend to leave a tacky-to-the-touch feel - it goes away but it’s there immediately upon removing the mask.  β€ƒ

Sorry for going and on. 😬 We’re talking skincare, I could go on and on. πŸ˜‚

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@ather it sounds very refreshing for summer πŸ™‚

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@CookieGirl1  It was!

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

V is for Vasanti BrightenUp Miracle Mask.

it’s made with charcoal, turmeric , papaya, clay and butters - shea and cocoa

it works to deep clean, brighten, and hydrate the skin.

I found it to be wonderful, it went on smoothly and came off easily with warm water.

My face felt so soft, smooth and clean.  I had no issues with the mask.

It’s a 2.6 oz tube so I can enjoy it several times in the future.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@Cissy63 sounds fabulous

@lmaster  Thank you. It was very good!!

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@Cissy63, those sound like a great set of ingredients for a mask. πŸ˜€ Glad to hear it's one that your skin likes.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi  Thank you!  It was really good!!

V + Fruits - Cherry + Vit C.jpg

Spoiler
The only fit issue I experienced with Vitamasques Vitamin C Mask Brighten is that the length is slightly off for my face - about 1/4” too short at the forehead and 1” too long at the chin / jawline. Hardly a dealbreaker. Openings for the eyes and mouth were just wide enough and the material covering the nose bridge was perfect, though I made a small incision to the inner corners of the eye hole to ensure that none of the clear, slightly viscous, faintly cherry scented essence fell into my eyes. None did, by the way.

The softness and thinness of the Tencel fiber mask adhered beautifully and lent itself to a comfortable 30 minutes, after which my skin looked and felt soft, hydrated, more plump, and brighter. Another win for the sheet masks in the Vitamasques Juicy Collection. πŸ‘πŸΌ

This was a mask I meant to use for a couple different themes, including @PrettyPaint's mask that would make a good band name - Vitamin C. Turns out there's an actual band by that name. lol.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi

I don't know which one I want to try first - the tart or the mask. πŸ˜…

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

Ahh @itsfi  this sounds heavenly πŸ’•. Lightly scented Cherry πŸ’•πŸ’.  Glad your eyes were ok while wearing it!!

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@Cissy63, the masks from this brand that I've used have fallen in either the good or great category. πŸ‘

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi Umm, both of those look amazing!  Does the mask have a scent?

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@CookieGirl1, thank you. I had a bit of a baking phase going on. πŸ₯§ This smelled just a smidge like cherries; it didn’t have much of a smell though, more clean, fresh, watery (does water have a smell?) scent that I pick up from many sheet masks, with a hint of cherry.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi Cherry themed mask? I mean... why don't I already own this?! πŸ’

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@QueenMarceline, oh my goodness, so true. It you give this one a try, it would be fun to hear your thoughts on it. I’ve noticed with cherry sheet masks, sometimes they’re referred to as acerola masks. πŸ’

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi  Oooo this mask sounds just as amazing as that cherry galette looks!!!  That’s great no serum got into your eye. I hate when that happens! It’s too bad the fit was off. Too bad they couldn’t just take the extra and make it more even throughout. But I guess you can’t win them all. The results sound pretty great also!
