Welcome to the 2024 Masking Challenge! 

This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

January	Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings.
February	Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC.
March	March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please!
April	Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights.
May	Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O.
June	Summer Sunshine - Ice cream, sunglasses, SPF, check! Once the sun is down (or before it's up), extra care is most necessary. How do you give your skin cooling repair?

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, fit, adherence, mask type (hydrating, brightening, exfoliating, detox, sleeping, etc.) as well as your overall experience.

@itsfi Lol That Origins mask is the one I have on my night stand at the moment... I swear I smell iced tea whenever I open it.  And..... now I have a few more sheet masks in my list to try. I keep eyeing up different ones from LuLuLun and this one is now up there!

@missjeanie, this is my favorite of the LuLuLun masks so far. 😁 I am finding that of all the sheet masks I've tried from them, I like the masks in their premium lines, both their single use masks and their daily mask packs.

@eshoe, yeah, I wasn’t expecting it to fall below a “like”. O Hui is a Korean luxury brand known for its sensitive skin product lines.

@itsfi Thanks so much for all these amazing reviews. I have been eyeing that Laneige Cica mask for quite some time now. I might have to pick it up at the VIB Sale this upcoming April.

@QueenMarceline, the sale is a great time to pick it up. Laneige direct also has some sales throughout the year, especially at the end of the year. I know you are on a no buy, maybe you could get a sample of the Laneige Cica in the early days of the sale to test out and see if you like it.

Oh, I've got a sample of that Belif sleeping mask that I need to work in, @itsfi. I'm glad to see that it worked out nicely for you!

@quspork, I was surprised by the belif sleeping mask. I do think it’s better when the weather is warmer, which will hopefully not be too much longer before that happens. Will be interested to hear your thoughts on it.

@itsfi I read this before I went to bed, so then I had that song stuck in my head. You are so good at connecting things to themes.

@Samtian, it's definitely one of those tunes that you can keep replaying over and over once you hear it. It happened a few times for me: when the theme came to mind, when I took the photo, put up the post, etc., etc. Thank you! Coming up with tie-ins to the theme has been fun and gives me a chance to have a bit of a creative outlet, along with taking pics. That latter one may be something I look into more when things settle down.

Maybe I’ll just take the pics, @Samtian? 🤪 Nah, I have to learn about it all, right?!. You know, I don’t think I ever asked, how did you  become interested in photography? Your photos are beautiful! 😍

@itsfi If you aren't interested in mostly being a purist wildlife photographer yeah you'll need to learn editing lol. Growing up I would go to my grandma's every summer and usually Thanksgiving and Christmas, anyways she always had a bunch of Nat Geo magazines. I'd sit behind her chair and just look at the pics for a long time. I just really really love looking at pictures lol. And thank you so so much!!

Hahaha! Okay @Samtian, editing will be part of the education. 😆 That’s such a sweet story (and memory); it’s easy to love looking at photos - it can be so calming.

@Samtian, thank you! I’m sure I will have plenty of questions. First I need to find some time to get started and learn the basics. My photographing efforts thus far have been limited to taking random pics of things I find interesting when I’m out and about, like flowers or a pic of a building, of my niece playing soccer, or my masking and hauling escapades. 😆
