Welcome to the 2024 Masking Challenge! 

This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

January	Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings.
February	Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC.
March	March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please!
April	Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights.
May	Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O.
June	Summer Sunshine - Ice cream, sunglasses, SPF, check! Once the sun is down (or before it's up), extra care is most necessary. How do you give your skin cooling repair?

Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, fit, adherence, mask type (hydrating, brightening, exfoliating, detox, sleeping, etc.) as well as your overall experience.

Most importantly: Would you repurchase it?

@eshoe I agree with what everyone here is saying. Either monthly or weekly is fine by me! Like the others, I think the alphabet is helpful - even though I have a gazillion masks there are times when I still can't find one to fit the theme. I think the alphabet makes it easier for everyone to play along. 😃

Thanks for the tag, @eshoe! Like a few others have mentioned, I'm really fine with switching to monthly challenges or keeping weekly if that's what the group wants-- I'm flexible haha. I know my posting has been super infrequent the last couple of months but I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things in the new year. I do like the idea of keeping the alphabet like some of our other lovely ladies mentioned since it can helpful to pull out a mask that may not fit the current theme but I can justify a letter somehow.

Thank you for the feedback, @quspork. I assembled a tentative schedule based on what everyone has shared above. I haven’t been posting as much either this year, I understand!

@eshoe I like the alphabet mixed in with the theme, that way it's easier to pick a mask in case you don't quite fit the actual theme, I tend to like the weekly masking too, but I'm not going to stop if you change it to monthly! ☺️ I'm in it for life 😉 however you feel best to change it or not change it, I'm fully supportive

Ha ha @lmaster, I couldn’t have said it better myself! Everything here has quieted down over the past year, including me. I just want to do what I can to keep it moving forward. Thank you for your encouraging words, they mean so much to me 🤗

@eshoe I agree with @lmaster that I find the alphabet helpful! Sometimes I don't have masks on theme but I can almost always find a letter one! 

I am open to switching to a monthly situation as well though! We could always do a chunk of the alphabet for each month if that makes things more streamlined!

@Kim888 I love that idea! I think I will do that then. I personally like having it too. Even though I am not always posting about the masks I use, I am using either/or as my ‘route guidance.’ Thank you for your input!!! @lmaster

@lmaster, I echo your “I’m in it for life” sentiments. 🥰 ♥️ Good point too on the options the current set up provides. No preference on my part, @eshoe. If there’s a consensus among the group, that seems like a good plan.
