This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

@itsfi  Great duel! I'm pretty sure the SC pineapple has been my favorite from the brand so far, but like you, I don't think it's anything super impressive 🍍

That pineapple sure looks delicious!

@Shosh85, I was surprised by the SC pineapple mask; didn't think I'd like it as much as I do. Still though probably not a repurchase unless there's a price drop or a good deal. It does, however, make me want to find more pineapple sheet masks, if only so that I can pair it with fresh pineapple. Nom, nom, nom! 😋💛🍍

This is a wrap up from last week’s fruit and veg I theme - Pumpkin battle

so I tried out three pumpkin masks last week - 

The  Purlisse Detox mask is a creamy clay mask. It does smell like pumpkin and clove though it’s not a super sweet smell. It didn’t dry down fully but it did get fairly dry and tight. I did experience some tingling. The exfoliating beads in this one are on the larger side. After, my pores did look slightly refined but my face also felt a bit dry.

I tried the Trader Joe’s pumpkin mask as a wash off mask and an overnight mask. This one has a very light pumpkin scent but does not have that pumpkin pie thing going on. It is a gel like consistency similar to other night masks. As a wash off mask, I felt this was fairly useless. It didn’t really make any difference with 10 minutes on and my face really didn’t feel or look different. As an overnight mask, my face felt nicely hydrated in the morning similar to the glow recipe ones . I will definitely use again that way. 

the PTR one is already a favorite of mine and still the best of the three imo. It smells like pumpkin pie and is a great resurfacing mask that brightens  skin and exfoliates slightly but the beads aren’t too large. I do experience some tingling when it first goes on

@Kim888 I laughed at your observation that the TJ’s mask was pretty useless as a wash-off. I’ve come to appreciate those types of masks as they fit the bill for rote skincare. No gain, but also no pain, ha!

@Kim888  I already know I love the PTR, but all of these look quite nice. The Purlisse actually looks pretty neat, although it probably would be something I would need to use in targeted areas rather than the whole face.  And I wish they would build more Trader Joe's because those pumpkin products always look so great!!  Love the pumpkin battle! 🙂

The L'arvore Lemon mask is very on theme.

So many flower/plant extracts. Lemon is 10th.

Meh. Too tight around the eyes. A little short in the forehead.

Clear, thin. Not a lot. 
Slight citrus smell that goes away quickly.
No tack. 

Wear Time 
10-20. I wore about 15. Mask was starting to dry. 

Effect 
None really? Like a slight hydration. 

Grade 
D. Wouldn't repurchase, had no effect, a bad fit and I don't like extracts being used in place of the actives especially so low in the ingredient list. But it didn't harm me.

Now this I really like. I don't remember the full list of things, but I have a few more so I'll take better notes over the next few weeks.

Oh wow @haleyvvvv, there are a lot of floral extracts in that first mask. 😮 I actually made a 😬 face when I ran through the INCI list. Glad to hear that your skin didn’t experience any irritation from it but I can see how it’s not a mask you’d repurchase.
