Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi wow!!! This one sure does look interesting!!

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@lmaster, I'm not sure about the actual acupoints on this mask, but I found the research I did on the pressure points on the face to be very interesting. May have to add some facial pressure point massage exercises to my "to try" list.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi  This definitely works for the innovative mask theme! The results certainly sound great and the concept is interesting, though I'd be curious to know if you'd see different results with continued usage - I always get the feeling these types of masks are a bit gimmicky. Sure looks neat though!

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@Shosh85, I hear ya - there's certainly a gimmicky bent to the mask. There's also other masks in the line with different pressure thingies (a very scientific term, don't you think?). It's Mediheal so there's a part of me that wonders what the science is behind it. At the very least, I'm putting it on my list of things that might need more experimenting. πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬πŸ”¬

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

Oh wow what an interesting concept @itsfi !! It can definitely be hard to know if it’s actually doing anything but good to hear it was hydrating at least

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@Kim888, it piqued my curiosity enough to do some research on acupoints. One of these days, I may pick up a few of these masks and use them more consistently to see what results. I wonder how frequently I'd need to use them? Hmmm...maybe I'll have to see how Mediheal's customer service responds to that question. πŸ˜€

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

Been a while since I masked last. Last night I went with the Creme Shop Be Smooth Skin mask and the SEPHORA COLLECTION Coach x Sephora Collection Tea Rose Eye Mask Set 3 pairs Oof those burned/stung so bad I don't think it lasted 5 minutes on me, not to mention how HUGE they are. The Be smooth was eh ok, lots of serum but I drained that before I put it on lol, I've learned my lesson.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@Samtian  Your post reminded me that I have those Coach eye masks, but now I'm a little afraid to use them! A burning/stinging sensation is never a good thing, especially under the eyes! Sorry to hear that!

The Creme Shop mask is super cute! Happy to hear this one turned out decent!

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@Shosh85 Thank you! Hopefully yours will be fine!

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

What a huge disappointment, @Samtian. I can’t imagine having burning under the eye area, yikes! Hopefully your skin is all back to normal now, what a pity:/

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@eshoe It is thank you! Thankfully I got them on sale. I think...

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

Ack!!! It burned / stung?!!! Very sorry to hear that you had to go through that @Samtian! I saw the photo of the under eye masks and thought "ooh nice that they are large enough to cover a lot of space"; then I read about your experience - oh goodness! I think I may have a set of these; ruh-roh. I'm glad you took them off; hopefully any redness or irritation caused has subsided.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi Thank you! Looking at the reviews it was only a recent one that had the same problem as me, so hopefully yours are ok! Yep things got better once I took them off.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@Samtian, out of curiosity I looked up the INCI list to see if we might narrow down what triggered the stinging / burning feel for you. These eye masks contain β€œascorbyl glucoside” (2nd to last ingredient posted), which is a derivative of Vitamin C. There are other ingredients in the eye masks that can cause a reaction so it might not be that or might not be that alone.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi Oh wow thank you!!! I really appreciate it! I'll pass these off to my mom.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@Samtian   Oh that’s disappointing they burned.  I know skincare isn’t Coaches thing so my assumption was they’d stick their name on some formula that worked.  They’re hilariously huge for eye masks but I guess they’ve got even the largest undereyes covered:D
I’m of the opinion, when fashion houses make eye masks it’s just a money grab.  Moschino bears were cute though.  Extra disappointed they didn’t put a fun print on those.  Why the fun Coach packaging for plain white eye masks?

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@heartsmyface Haha no kidding! Yeah they could have had a fun design.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

Love your expressions @Samtian

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@lmaster πŸ˜„ thank you!

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

Awww - The Creme Shop Mask is so cute, @Samtian !!!

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@Tamara76 Haha it is! Red Pandas are one of my favorite animals.
