Welcome to the 2024 Masking Challenge!
This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!
Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights ๐ฎ
January | Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings. |
February | Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC. |
March | March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please! |
April | Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights. |
May | Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O. |
June | Summer Sunshine - Ice cream, sunglasses, SPF, check! Once the sun is down (or before it's up), extra care is most necessary. How do you give your skin cooling repair? |

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
@Shosh85, yeah, I was a little bit bummed that it didn't smell like blueberries, but it's in keeping with it's "all natural" claims and brand name that there would be no added fragrance, and I'm good with that. I will be paying more attention though to the other blueberry masks I have (particularly those that smell like blueberries) to see if they contain added fragrance.

Too bad it wasn't supr hydrating. The photo on the front makes it look great for dry skin.
Thanks for the review, good to know about the tackiness @Kim888
@Kim888 this had me doing a double-take; it OOS so much like Huxleyโs mask. Sounds like a โjust barely better-than-fillerโ mask thanks to the cooling effect.
@Kim888 It doesn't sound like anything terribly impressive, but that cooling effect does sound nice! ๐
@Kim888, I had my eye on this mask but decided to pick it up at another time. The cooling effect on this one sounds like it might be good for warm weather days or nights.
Great for very dry skin. Feels good on and lots of serum.
Great for very dry skin sounds right up my alley.
If you have dry skin this one is a lifesaver.
I'll have to check it out. Thank you.
@elleb810 Etude House makes some great masks, and I agree, this is a good one for dry skin! Glad to hear you enjoyed it! ๐
This one gets used once a week at a minimum. It's one of the few sheet masks that my skin finds moisturizing enough. Have you used others from this brand?
Yes, this is a great one for dry skin, @elleb810! Glad to hear it worked out well for you.
My skin just lives for this mask.
@elleb810, this line of Etude House masks is one of my favorites! I love how thin the material is and the results are fantastic. I've not yet tried this Argan variety. Is the serum thick? Argan oil can be too heavy for me so I haven't been too quick to reach for this one when I go for a mask from this collection, but I like the sound of it being really good for dry skin.
I didn't find it too heavy. I've given a couple to friends and family. My sister liked it and she can have a hard time with argan oil, like you. She uses the Josie Maran light version of the argan oil because the original formula is too much for her most of the time.
This mask is so good, @elleb810! Etude House makes some excellent sheet masks, they are always on my repeat list๐ Have you tried any of their other masks?
The olive oil one is a good one too. There's a bunch of the serum even though the material is thin. Which of their masks have you used?
@elleb810 I have tried quite a few from this line, but havenโt ventured out much after that. My favorites are the collagen, honey, and the olive, like you. There are probably more, but those are the first that one to mind. Any one of these works for me, though, and they are often my go-to when I donโt want to take masking notes, and just enjoy the masking itself ๐
