This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

Reading and comparing, I made it all the way until the end and *sigh* of course one has already been discontinued @itsfi 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thankfully a little smile was waiting at the end, with the numerous lip balms scattered around. I can so relate!

@eshoe, lol! It's amazing how many lip balms can make their way to the bottom of my handbags, or in the pockets, etc. 😲 Most of them close to being finished, too! I can be grateful for that, at least. 😆 

I think both these XOY masks, and the other two from the brand, have been retired. I've tried all four; my favorite is the milk cream. It's a bummer it's no longer around but there are plenty of other milky cream serum sheet masks out there.

I have finished a mere handful of glosses/balms over the past five and 1/2 months, which means... time to restock?🤣

@eshoe, if there are balms you find "meh" but don't necessarily want to toss, they can make good bases for a DIY lip scrub. Or, mix it with an eye shadow or powder blush for a tinted lip balm. Or use the balm on your cuticles or other dry parts. A restock of lip balms sounds in order for you next month. 🛍

I appreciate the suggestions @itsfi-I can definitely put a few of those to use! Plenty of face creams have been repurposed as body creams in my house, why not nail fortifiers😄

@itsfi both of those masks sound great!! Discontinued 😣 yep story of our lives!! @curlychiquita I believe you wanted to know about this hair mask, I agree with @itsfi it's actually a really good one! I love the scent too!! Would I buy the FS? Ehhh,,, not anytime soon, only because I have more than enough at the moment 😆

@lmaster @itsfi Thank you very much for tagging me in your Better Not Younger Hair Redemption Butter Masque 6.8 oz/ 200 mLreview! You know I love hair masks! I think I need something thicker than this is - I use really thick hair masks all the way from my scalp to my ends because I have extremely course hair. I appreciate you letting me know about the thinner consistently of it before I spent money on it, @lmaster.

Yeah @lmaster, it seems that most sheet masks do not have a long tenure in the marketplace. ☹️  While I'm still sad to see some sheet masks go away for good, I've gotten used to that trend. It makes me more impressed with brands that are able to continue to put out certain sheet masks for longer than a few years. The one that hurts the most for me is that Too Cool For School Coconut Ceramide one. 😢  

@curlychiquita, beautiful curls like yours are a far off dream for me, but I liked how hydrating this mask was for my hair. I generally avoid applying hair masks to my crown and ends to help keep my hair from being weighed down and just used this hair mask on the length of my strands and it has worked well for me. If you have questions about the mask that I didn't get to, please feel free to ask. We are happy to help - I'm including @lmaster in that "we" - her hair is more similar to yours and she may be able to provide insight into the product that I cannot.

Pretty packaging week

I give this mask an A! This was a decently saturated mask that was very soft and had a pleasant light floral scent. I wore it for 20 minutes and it didn’t dry out though there was no extra Serum in the packaging. After my skin felt non tacky and nicely hydrating. I guess I don’t think it has any impact on wrinkles but I don’t think you can get that from one use. I would use again!

@Kim888, I've seen a few of these masks around but haven't heard too much about how they perform. This one sounds fantastic. Love the art design on the packaging of them too - the different scenes of Seoul are beautiful. 💖

Isn't the packaging on this mask cute?

The bear on the packaging and the bears on the mask of this More Than Magic Carnival Treat Face Mask are super cute. Sadly that's two of the three best features this particular mask had to offer. The other "pro" to this mask (and it's not an insignificant "pro") is that it smells like vanilla cake batter. Yummy! 😋 I'm not certain whether it's just how the mask is designed, or if I happened to get a dud, or if I've had this mask in my stash for longer than I should have, but there was little, if any, essence to this mask. It wasn't bone dry but it was far closer to that than being coated or soaked in essence. I ended up keeping the mask on for less than 5 minutes because there wasn't enough serum in it. Paired this mask with the LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm Gummy Bear, which was nice. I'm a fan of the Laneige lip glowly lip balms and the lip sleeping masks, in all their flavors; despite not needing more of either, I still pick them up whenever a new flavor is released. Both the balm and mask version of this gummy bear favor are good. 

But, how were the actual gummy bears? Glad you asked. Haribo. They were delicious! Not too soft, not too hard. Has a good bite and chew to it.  A repeated repurchase. 😆

@heartsmyface, if that bear mask wasn't so dry, I know I would have repurchased a bunch right away - such a cute print on that mask. Maybe that's better for my wallet. I do want to give it another try one of these days.

Thankfully you had some rescue gummy bears on standby! Those are repeats for me, too;)

@eshoe, I'm hoping it was just that that particular mask was a flop. I may pick up another one at a later date to see if that is the case.
