Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐Ÿ’—

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@ather  It was wonderful! It wasn't like a typical clay mask, and I think that, with the great results is why I loved it so much! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

That sounds like a really interesting mask, @Shosh85. That texture seems like it'd be fun to use, plus the results sound great!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@quspork  The unique texture and great results definitely surprised me! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

A bouncy / jiggly clay mask @Shosh85?!! That alone has piqued my curiosity! ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿค” Those are some mighty nice results too! Did you happen to notice any detoxing / clarifying / unclogging pores action from the clay?

Ummm, youโ€™re so on theme - X for Xanthan Gum! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi  The texture was nothing like I've ever experienced before! I love it! It has definitely made it into my list of top favorites!

Fortunately, my pores have always been in pretty good shape - but it did make my skin did look noticeably smoother. My face felt clean, but not stripped.

Oh, yes, Xanthan Gum. I always forget about that one ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜‰

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

After seeing @PrettyPaintโ€™s Gudetama mask from Saturday, it was motivation to get mine posted, too-after all, it was her idea to begin with๐Ÿ˜‰

Spoiler
The short and sweet of this is that the Joanna Vargas Exfoliating Mask is a deliciously-scented, light citrus/fruity favorite of mine. The Crรจme Shop Tighter and Brighter was most definitely my mood last week; I wish I could have reclined in an egg chair all weekend!

Since I couldnโ€™t, I used this mask. My experience was very similar to @PrettyPaintโ€˜s. With this one, itโ€™s more about the cuteness factor than the fit/adherence. Despite that, I would use it all over again if I needed an easy smile at the end of the day.

Thank you so much for this theme, I had fun going through my masks determined to find something to match my mood๐Ÿ˜˜

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe - i love gudetama.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@nuinui933 the whole idea of a lazy egg is amusing. Gudetama is great!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe  that chair is so cool. I think I need one lol. Love the reclining egg!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

We could all use one, @ather! Looks like the perfect chair to me:)

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe, thereโ€™s just something about that lazy egg Gudetama that brings a smile to your face. Maybe you need to get the chair and see how it feels to mask while lounging in it. For science, of course. ๐Ÿ˜†

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

For science, @itsfi, yes! The longer I am on this earth, the more I appreciate Gudetamaโ˜บ๏ธ As silly as it may sound๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe, not silly; it makes a lot of sense actually.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe I need that chair!! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

I have always wanted one, @lmaster! They look so cool and cozy. I tried again this past year, but my husband is opposed to it. So I do face masks and dream of owning one๐Ÿ˜‚

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe  Have you ever seen Men in Black? That chair totally reminds me of the one Will Smith sat in and dragged across the floor, causing it to make that horrible screeching noise. ๐Ÿ˜‚

The Gudetama sheet mask certainly is super cute! I think everyone here has been in a lazy egg, 'meh' sort of mood at one time or another! ๐Ÿฅš๐Ÿณ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Itโ€™s been ages since Iโ€™ve seen that, @Shosh85! But I cringed when I read the chair makes a screeching noise...I am very thankful I donโ€™t remember that part๐Ÿคฃ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Started the week off with a sheet mask that fits both this week's challenge, with a X  for xanthic (having a yellow color; yellowish) and an adorably packaged mask for @Shosh85's fun theme! ๐Ÿ’›

X - cute packaging - Funassyi pear.jpg
Spoiler
The character depicted on the packaging and mask of the Pure Smile Funassyi Pear Kabuki Art Mask is Funassyi, a "pear fairy" and the unofficial mascot of the city of Funabashi, Chiba, Japan. The Funssyi character is an Asian pear (Pyrus pyrifolia extract)๐Ÿ˜‹

I've always classified Pure Smile masks as filler masks - no muss, no fuss masks good for everyday use. The mask is medium-thick, adheres nicely, and fits like most sheet masks, so on me, larger all-around with openings for the eyes and mouth being too narrow and requiring adjustments. The essence is a clear, ever so slightly viscous liquid. There's a lot of it too in this mask, and in the packet as well. I was able to keep the mask on for 40 minutes without any fear of it drying out; in fact, my face was still soaked in essence, though it absorbed very quickly, after removing the mask, leaving my skin feeling hydrated and looking dewy and plump

Most Pure Smile sheet masks are subtly scented with the key ingredient, or they have that fresh, clean, signature sheet mask scent to it. Then came this delectably pear scented Funassyi Pear Kabuki Art Mask, one of the best scented masks from this brand, though I can't be sure whether that is due to the pear extract or added fragrance in the mask. Regardless, this one smells very good and the illustration on the mask is, like the packaging, super cute! I don't typically categorize Pure Smile sheet masks as one worth running out and repurchasing pronto, but this Funassyi Pear mask is an exception and I could see myself seeking out another of this mask, or one of the other masks in the limited edition Funassyi Pear set.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi - this one is really cute. i'll have to look for it.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@nuinui933, this one was super cute - the packaging as well as the illustration on the mask itself. I sorta kicked myself for not trying it sooner.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi  This is the cutest mask ever!!! I actually tried a pear just like it this week! Great minds think alike
