Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
@lmaster Oh, this one sounds so nice! Happy to hear the scent was pleasant! ๐น
@Shosh85 I was pleasantly surprised the scent was light and not overwhelming ๐
@lmaster, pricing on these Botanic Farm sheet masks vary from vendors but if you can find them at a good price, they may decent filler masks. The scent, of course, makes it even better! ๐น
Q for Q-10
Mask: Annieโs Way Mask Gallery Q10 + Syzygium Firming Mask
Claim(s): Brighten, Firm, Soften, Hydrate, and Minimize Appearance of Lines
Material: Tencel (and it's just as fabulous as I hoped it would be)
Essence: Clear, runny, watery essence with a light, fresh scent that feels cooling on the skin, even after the mask was removed; absorbs quickly and without any tack or stickiness
Adherence: Wonderful - The soft, thin, lightweight, silky smooth Tencel just molds beautifully to the skin and the contours of the face.
Fit: Taiwanese sheet masks, such as this one from Annie's Way, tend to be a better fit for my face shape. This was just a smidge too long at the chin and a teensy bit too wide at my temples. The opening for the mouth is actually more of a slit, which I'm generally fine with. Fit can be tailored with a slight incision to the corners of that mouth opening as well as to the inner corners of the opening for the eyes.
Results: I'm not sure about its claim to diminish the look of lines, and I wasn't really expecting to see anything related to those claims, especially with just using this mask this one time and for30 minutes. Now, as for its other claims, the mask performed very well. My skin looked even toned (less redness), more plump and with a bright, fresh-faced glow. It felt soft, smooth and hydrated.
Would I Repurchase?: Yes. While I wouldn't necessary say this particular sheet mask is a must have, it certainly is a nice one to have around. These Annie's Way masks have been a great find. I haven't tried all of the varietals in this particular line yet, but have been happy with the ones I have gotten around to using, including this one. This Q10 mask is one I would happily repurchase, recommend and gift.
@itsfinot surprised at all to hear the material on this was extra-comfy! Annieโs Way (the ones I have tried) have been so thin and soothing. The slits instead of the more traditional openings arenโt bad at all, I agree:)
@eshoe, many of the Taiwanese sheet masks have been a hit with me - the feel, the fit, the results. ๐ I don't see the slits for the mouth openings too often, but they seem to always work out pretty well for me.
@itsfi Oooh, I haven't seen this Annie's Way mask before! I also have never heard of Syzyguim before.... will definitely have to research that one ๐ This one sounds sooo good! Happy to hear you enjoyed it! ๐
I know @Shosh85, first time I've heard of Syzyguim too; I don't even know how to pronounce it. Thank goodness for the internet. ๐ I guess I could have used it for this week too then, R for researched. Hahaha! ๐คฃ The sheet masks I've tried from this collection have all been good so far. ๐คMakes me happy to find a brand that has a handful of masks I like. Makes it hard too to not go overboard when re-stocking masks. ๐ The struggles of a masker. ๐
I've always liked the annie's way masks @itsfi this one sounds lovely
The Annieโs Way sheet masks are great, arenโt they @lmaster?!! Have you tried any of their wash off masks?
I'm with you on the Taiwanese masks and their fit, @itsfi. They tend to have such good coverage without needing much in the way of maneuvering around facial features. Plus who doesn't love a good tencel mask?! Glad to hear this one worked out well for you- it sounds like a nice one to have on hand!
@quspork, needing to make a few tweaks here and there isnโt a deal breaker for me but not having to make them or a lot of them, well, that definitely helps a mask stand out. The great material and results seal the deal for me when it comes to many Taiwanese sheet masks.
@itsfi Interesting I have never seen an Annieโs way mask that wasnโt the bubble tea version. Iโm glad you enjoyed it! I will definitely keep my eyes out for these!
@ather, these masks are worth a try if you can find them. Love the Tencel material! โฅ๏ธ This range was my introduction to the brand, and since then and through this thread, I learned about the bubble tea masks.
P is for Purifying
@eshoe, I wouldn't say the material is gauze-y like the By Wishtread sheet masks; it's more that it has a gauze like pattern imprinted in the sheet mask material. It made me wonder initially if it was gauze, but I don't think it is. ๐ Still a good mask, just not one I'm confident in saying is a gauze mask.
I understand @itsfi, thank you for clarifying. I think I know exactly what you mean, as Iโm what material you are referring to. I am still going to keep it on my list!
@itsfi Another mask I haven't heard of ๐ This one sounds wonderful too! Where did you pick this one up?
