Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
@Shosh85, the combination of the Tencel material and the milky serum were just a perfect pairing for me! ๐ So good for dry skin. ๐ I will definitely let you know my thoughts on how this one compares to the Mediheal natto mask.
โThere's extra, too, in the packet.โ
Some of the best words to hear after learning the essence is that good, @itsfiโบ๏ธAt first glance I thought your takeout might be tako. The Natto certainly looks good, though!
@eshoe, itโs always nice treat to have extra of a good serum! ๐๐ผ The natto was okay; just not my favorite. I think I prefer my soybeans in Japanese food in a different form, like miso soup, ๐ฅฃ or edamame, though the latter is a different form of soybean.
@itsfi Love this picture!! Sorry the sushi wasnโt over the top amazing. But glad you tried it!!
Aww, thank you @ather! ๐ค Iโm glad I tried - the mask and the natto sushi. Itโs alright that this roll wasnโt my favorite; I had some yummy sashimi too. ๐๐
ETA 4/6/21: @ather, I'm not sure where your post that I'm responding to here went. โน๏ธ It was here for me to respond to yesterday. I've reported it on the feedback thread and hopefully your post will pop back up soon. ๐ค
@itsfi Interesting. I was having issues posting yesterday but I thought it was my internet. Thanks for reporting it.
Very odd, right @ather?! Hope youโre not experiencing any more issues with posting!
You are my people @itsfi !!! Ordering take out to purely to match a mask! I love it. I'd never heard of Natto before last week. Not sure I'd seek it out either, but if I happened upon a menu I'd likely try it just to say I did. Sounds like an excellent mask ingredient though! I'll be curious to see which you prefer, this or the Mediheal
@missjeanie, yes!!! ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐ค Iโve no idea which informs the other - do my food choices or cravings inform what mask I use? Or is my mask du jour influencing what Iโm eating? ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ So far, itโs not been a bad thing!
Takeout was a better way to go - Iโm sure I would have messed it up if I tried making natto myself. ๐
An accidental mask-while-you-task yesterday morning, thanks to a double-duty cleanser:)
@eshoe Ohhhhh I have that Inky list balm waiting in the wings. How do you find it as a cleanser? Or is it better as a mask?
@eshoe sounds like a nice and soothing sesh
The Inkey List Cleansing Balm makes for a nice first cleanser @eshoe. ๐ Good for all skin types but especially dry or sensitive skin.
It is very gentle, @itsfi. I canโt help but think of oats and chicken pox together, though. Childhood memories like that make a lasting impression; oats = comfort โบ๏ธ
@eshoe Sounds like a nice masking session! Glad to hear you're enjoying the cleansing balm - that's something I was planning on picking up soon ๐
The first few times I tried to snag it, it was OOS @Shosh85. I definitely use it more as a quick hydrating mask than as a cleanser, now that I know ๐ Mine has a slight โoilโ scent; not too strong, but enough that I donโt reach for it daily. @WinglessOne didnโt notice a scent so it could just be me๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ I would be curious to hear about your thoughts if you try it!
I love the idea of the cleansing balm as a mask @eshoe . I have one just waiting to be cracked into when I finish my current oil. I want to say I used to use the Sunday Riley cleanser as a mask at one point too? How do you find this one compares to other cleansing balms for you?
@eshoe Glad you got to have a little extra mask time! I need to order this cleanser!
I used this Stewardess Mask Pack Business Class Mask by FG Beauty for last week's theme (mask while you task). It's advertised as being for flight attendants, so I figured this kind of fit the theme from last week.
It fit nicely and was fresh and hydrating. It had a standard mask smell. The serum was kind of a gel and cream mixture, so it adhered pretty nicely. Overall, it was a great filler mask - not amazing results, but a nice, refreshing morning mask.
I would love to see a fight attendant sporting a mask @PrettyPaint
@lmaster Haha I would love that!
