March | March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please! |
April | Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights. |
May | Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O. |

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
@eshoe Oh I need a baby like that!! Yep George is one of our Weasley twin kittens.
@Samtian, at first I thought "ohhhh, what kind of ingredient is fwea?" Hahahaha! Nice work, George!!! ๐ I like the sound of "deeply hydrating" ~ happy to hear this was a love for you!
@itsfi Haha thank you, must be something from New Zealand.
Closed out last week's masking with a L for love, loss and last. ๐๐๐ข
I loved this one too @itsfi ๐
Itโs such a great mask @lmaster! ๐ฅฅ
Yay for reaching your goal, @itsfi!
Thank you @quspork! ๐ค So far, so good! ๐ We'll see if I can keep it up.
That is an impressively low amount of inventory, @itsfi. anything below 100 seems completely reasonable, if not a bit unsettling;)
@eshoe, it's certainly taken some getting used to, but I'm settling in pretty well so far with less than 100 on hand. Time will tell if it lasts. ๐
@itsfi Congrats on reaching your goal!!! Sorry about it being discontinued.
Thank you @Samtian! I didn't think I'd ever make it. ๐ It's all good - it happens, right?! Though it seems that there has been a lot of sheet masks that have been discontinued in the last year or so. Sometimes I think to myself, maybe I'll just say it's not a good mask, then it'll be around forever!! Ha! I have all these masks left to go through; maybe another favorite will be in the mix. ๐ค
I'm smelling the entire time I'm reading this @itsfi !
So many feels.... the loss of the TCFS mask (I may or may not be saving my last two), I too hope they bring it back. I have the matching lip scrub as well and I really like it.
I'm so proud of you for getting to your goal of 80!! Double masking really helps. And double masking for multiple months!!! Yo go! That's some dedication. I'm rooting for you to hit your 30 goal, and I have full faith that you can do it!
Savor those last two coconut ceramide masks, @missjeanie!! ๐ Thank you so much for just putting in my head the thought of a month of double masking! ๐ค It actually came in handy not just for my face, but giving me something to focus on from a self-care aspect and just something to have a little control over with everything going on. Made for a good "time out" during the day, and the night too! ๐
I agree @itsfi it's helped me get back into a bit of a routine. I was finding that pandemic life had me so off my game. I now do a wash off in the morning/at lunch before my shower and do my sheet mask either in the afternoon or the evening, both if I'm feeling a bit of extra time. Seeing you're post actually reminded me to get up and toss one on. This month is Creme Shop month... I'm thinking I may pick another 'theme' for next month lol.
You've been a rock star with working through your masks @missjeanie! Love that this month is TCS month. I used one of those masks earlier this week. Having your own theme is so much fun! Impressive that you have monthly themes. I try for weekly ones but end up maybe sticking to it for 3 or 4 days. I think I may be able to get in a longer one later in the spring. Yeah, pandemic life has had a roller coaster effect when it's come to skincare and self-care; on a high at the moment so I'm going to aim to make the most of it and keep at it. I'll keep an eye out for your posts / reviews for this month's theme and next month's.
@itsfi In Memoriam C.C.M. ๐
I think I recall you posting about this one before. I never got the chance to try it, but it sounds amazing. By the way, I am so impressed with your mask library efforts. I have to ask, though - Is there some significance in the number 80? ๐
@PrettyPaint, yes, so sad to see CCM go. So. sad.
Thank you! ๐ค I just really wanted to get my sheet masks down to something more manageable. I think 80 probably seems a lot to most people. It is a lot, let's be fair here. But, I'm going to start with this and then see how much lower I can get it comfortably. ๐
You know prettypaint, I'd like to say there was this great thought process or story that went into arriving at 80 sheet masks as a final tally, but it really boiled down to this - 100 seemed too much; if I went with 90, which could work nicely for a quarterly or seasonal rotation of masks, I was afraid it would be too easy for me to inch my way to 100. I also had in mind a collection of masks that would include one monthly mask pack (and the most I've seen is one holding 33 sheet masks), along with one 14-day pack and one 7-day pack (I'm trying to figure out if I have a preference for a month long, 2-week long or week long mask packs), as well as room if I decided to purchase a pack of 10 masks.
So the tally there was 64 and we hadn't even gotten to individual masks. When I go to the local boutiques or order individual masks online, I probably pick up 5-8 individually packaged masks at a given time, and I don't always just go into just 1 store or one online shop, so I doubled the high end (2 x 8 = 16) and that got me to 80. See, nothing glamorous about the number 80 here. We'll see if I can get comfortable with lowering that number. I feel like I should be able to. But should and will can be two different stories. We shall see . . .
I enjoyed the rational here @itsfi . I need to decide how to figure out my ideal number. You're right. 100 is a lot, but maybe not to those of us reading lol.
@missjeanie, figuring out what would be a good target number for me was a bit of a challenge. My points of reference was either 10 (when I first started) and that lasted me a two months or waaay too much. ๐ For me, what helped to at least get me started was to think about my purchasing practices when it came to sheet masks and also what mix of sheet masks (tried-and-true favorites vs new-to-me masks) I wanted in my mask library.
