This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

January	Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings.
February	Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC.
March	March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please!
April	Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights.
May	Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O.
June	Summer Sunshine - Ice cream, sunglasses, SPF, check! Once the sun is down (or before it's up), extra care is most necessary. How do you give your skin cooling repair?

I don't really consider snail to be an unusual ingredient, but this is the first mask I've seen/used that specifies it as black snail, so I'm counting it 😉🐌

Jigott Real Ampoule Mask ~ Black Snail

Material:

Thin, sort of gauzy cotton

Serum:

Clear, thin, watery. A little extra in the pouch 

Scent:

Light floral

Fit:

A smidge too wide at the forehead, a little too long at the chin, and the mouth and eye holes were just a tiny bit too small. The adherence was ok, but not the greatest - had to occasionally re-pat different parts of the mask down, mostly at the chin.

Wear Time:

Half hour

Tack:

Light. Stuck around for about 10 minutes.

Results:

Soft and smooth, lightly plump and  hydrated skin with a subtle glow

Repurchase?

Yes, I  probably would. The scent just makes me a little less excited about it.

@Shosh85 I need to research this more as well. I did a tiny bit the other day and couldn't find too much detail about specific species...if only I could get an internship with a skincare/masking company.

That is such a good snail mask @Shosh85 @ChrisCupcakes! Checks off a lot of boxes - snail 🐌, good quality - thin sheet, nice serum consistency, excellent price point...

100% with you @Shosh85! The snail isn't unusual to me either - it's actually a staple in my collection. Can't be without it. 🐌 I've seen black snail as a skincare ingredient but I don't think I've use a mask with that particular species (is it a species?! Will need to look that up.). Your mask also fits the letter of the week challenge - G for gastropod!!! 😁🐌 The material and results from this one sound good! 😍

Curious, have you tried other masks from this brand? I like the aesthetic on the packaging. Ummm, not that that would be the sole reason that I would pick up a mask... 😂🤣😂 But let's be real, it does catch my attention!

I have tried 5 from this line and have 8 more left in my stash to use. So far I would say they're in the, good-not-great, filler-type masks category. 😉
