January | Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings. |
February | Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC. |
March | March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please! |
April | Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights. |
May | Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O. |
June | Summer Sunshine - Ice cream, sunglasses, SPF, check! Once the sun is down (or before it's up), extra care is most necessary. How do you give your skin cooling repair? |

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
@itsfi Wow. This sounds amazing!!! Glad it worked well for you. Especially during these dry months!!
@ather, I has happy with this one - it has hydrating and moisturizing ingredients in it so it addresses both my dehydrated and dry skin. Oh yes, the first three months of the year are usually the pits for me when it comes to my skin being dry, sometimes December as well - it's easy for my skin to get really dry if I'm not super diligent with my skincare routine and water intake.
@itsfi these results sound like a dream!!
@lmaster, it was a nice mask pack; my skin really liked it. Iโd love to see something similar but with a milky or cream essence. I know there are other peach ceramide sheet masks and ones in packs like this; Iโm up for trying them! โบ๏ธ
E is for Eve Lom
โ
@lmaster This one sounds wonderful, especially the milky serum! ๐
Perfect for you!! @Shosh85 ๐
@lmaster, the scent on Eve Lom products can be too much for me; this one sounds like it has a much lighter scent.
@itsfi this one was very light, I bet you would like it
Yay, so happy this one treated your skin well, @lmaster! I remember this brightening my skin as wellโบ๏ธ Love your bullet point method, easy to read and succinct. I might need to copy that, as a matter of fact;)
@eshoe no offense to the luxury brands, but I've not had great luck with the few I've tried, but this one was great!! Thanks so much ๐ค
@eshoe Yeah, I remember looking in their site for the first time and being shocked ๐ณ
@lmaster @Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Those kinds of masks always feel so luxurious!
This mask had it all for me @Kim888 I didn't purchase this one, but I did find a set of 4 for $55 through nordstrom, so about $14 a mask with taxes, not too bad for a luxury brand
The Body Shop Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask is a grassy, herbaceous scented, creamy, whipped, mousse-like, pale green clay mask that turns more clear as the mask dries down. I applied the mask with a brush but the creaminess of the mask is such that it should be easy to spread and apply with fingertips as well. There's a cool, tingling sensation immediately upon application, which I suspect is due to the menthol in the mask.
There are some bits in the mask that become more noticeable when as I massage the mask into my skin in circular motions while rinsing off the mask. In that sense, the mask is a like a 2-in-1 - a clay mask and scrub. The bits are not harsh but I do use a gentle touch because it seems like it could be easy to over-scrub with this mask. I made sure to use an even gentler touch on the areas of my face that are more sensitive and to avoid any areas where I might have an open wound or be suffering from an active breakout (i.e., my right jawline).
Once the mask is all rinsed off, my skin feels softer and smoother and my complexion looked brighter too. This is a nice mask-and-scrub in one, but it's probably not one I would repurchase, though I would consider trying it out again in the warmer months. It seems more suited for someone with oily skin as well as those with who do not have sensitive skin.
@itsfi I've liked the few Face Shop masks I've tried so far and this sounds like one I should add to my list. Glad you enjoyed it! C๐
Iโve been happy with most of The Face Shop masks Iโve tried @Shosh85. I havenโt seen this particular line on the market (though to be fair, Iโve been on a sheet mask no buy and not really going out to shop) - Iโm not sure if that means these are not yet in wide release or if they are scarce because they are being discontinued. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
@itsfi very interesting mask from the body shop, I would definitely try this one out if I had a sample
