Welcome to the 2024 Masking Challenge!
This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!
Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights ๐ฎ
January | Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings. |
February | Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC. |
March | March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please! |
April | Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights. |
May | Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O. |
June | Summer Sunshine - Ice cream, sunglasses, SPF, check! Once the sun is down (or before it's up), extra care is most necessary. How do you give your skin cooling repair? |

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
@haleyvvvv I always have the A:pe masks on hand too. I really enjoy them! Interesting the yogurt one was dry I would have thought it would be more gooey.
I thought it would be gooey too, @ather!! Maybe I got a bad one?
@haleyvvvv Maybe it was. But would it be worth having another bad or dry one again?
Not enough to purchase outright, but if it was in another like mystery pack or grab bag, I would try it, @ather. It was weird, because it wasn't expired... It did definitely reduce redness a bit and reduces pore size a bit, but not better than anything else I like.
Also where do you purchase the medieval mask from?
Pink n Blossam, @SAlyFitz!! They ship to both the USA and Canada
which origins mask is your go to rose or willow herb? I can understand the sitting on top or soaking in from evercalm and Iโm interested in expanding my go to calming masks I keep on hand all the time I love the origins hemp! Iโm gonna check out your fab recommendation too bc their cleanser is a steady I can always use/wonโt bother me product
@SAlyFitz I really like the Origins Original Skinโข Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay 2.5 oz/ 75 mL for reducing redness and helping with any acne. Because it's a bit exfoliating, I wouldn't use or recommend for any sort of disrupted skin barrier or skin in need of recuperation, for that I use the First Aid Beauty FAB Pharma Arnica Relief & Rescue Mask .
@haleyvvvv awww man! The yogurt mask looked so cool too, bummer
@lmaster, right!! It was so disappointing ๐
@haleyvvvv Mediheal makes some great masks! After all the great reviews I've read about this A:PE mask, I think it's definitely time for me to finally try it! Glad to hear you love it! ๐
@Shosh85 they really make some excellent masks. I'm excited to try out some of their other ones I have in my stash. But so many masks, so little time.
Love that Mediheal mask, @haleyvvvv! And yes- I absolutely think bulk purchasing after trying one sheet totally counts haha.
Haha, yay, @quspork!! It is such a good one, I'm so glad I tried it earlier than I was going to thanks to this thread.
Trying out one mask before purchasing a set DEFINITELY counts @haleyvvvv! Love that line of Mediheal masks! Sooo good! ๐
Yay, @itsfi!! They're so so so good. Now I need to try the rest (which are in my too large for someone who doesn't love sheet masks stash) after I work through the soon to be expired pile.
@haleyvvvv That mediheal mask looks amazing!
It is truly excellent, @PrettyPaint!! I definitely recommend.
@haleyvvvv I am convinced! ๐
Oh!! Oh my! Iโm fairly adventurous with my ingredients but I need a moment to collect myself. The active ingredient is from human stem cells. Um, C is for Human Adipocyte Conditioned Culture Solution Extract ๐ฎ
Iโm not sure I can do this. Maybe itโll wait for gross week. ๐
