Time to reset and begin again. The 2021 Challenge is finally here! 

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcome. 

This Week’s Theme: Rinse-off masks & peels (physical or chemical) that soften your face & body. Much gratitude to @keana1 for this new challenge!

“C” is for Chamomile and Clapiel

I love with the Facetory Chamomile mask! The material on this was super cool - it’s like a thick waffle like material that felt super nice. It didn’t have a strong tea scent, just very neutral. I left it on for 15 minutes and my skin felt very hydrated after and non tacky. I’m always a little wary of their in house mask brand but this one was really nice 

I also tried the Clapiel hibiscus mask. This didn’t smell like anything, very neutral scent. It was a nice cotton mask that has a decent fit. Overall, I feel like this was just a bit in memorable. My skin felt hydrated after but nothing I would run out to buy again. Anti-wrinkle is always a bit of an odd claim for sheet masks since I don’t think that could really happen with 1 mask use

That Facetory mask sounds so interesting @Kim888. I agree about their house brand generally but this chamomile one sounds nice! 😃

Ok I was every curious about the Facetory mask, @Kim888. I wanted to try it to see what their waffle sheet is like, to compare it to the Kocostar. Thanks for the 👍🏼 I will add this one to my list, also!

@Kim888 I honestly wouldn't expect a nuetral scent looking at the packaging of both of these masks, good to know!

Tonight’s masking was thanks to a little nudge from @Samtian, who convinced me to try this Cooling Leg Wrap:

It is the boots version of foot masks. Kocostar’s Leg Relax Therapy seemed intriguing with its promise of a cooling sensation. They are indeed quite lengthy, with identical ‘boots’ running clear up to my knees. Each has three sticky tabs for a decent fit. I was expecting them to slip/slide partially down, but they both withstood my constant motion without a hitch.

After a few minutes, I began to feel a cooling around my legs. This was nice; subtle, but very refreshing. Unlike the Dr.Jart+ foot masks that only warmed when still, these provided a constant soothing coolness. I left them on for over an hour. I did not want to remove them; they were much to comfortable. I finally did, and found my legs sparsely covered in a pale, milky lotion-like serum. I massaged it to help it absorb and noticed a slight minty/eucalyptus scent that was completely undetectable while worn. My legs did remain tacky for a few minutes, and retained the ‘cool’ feeling a bit longer as well.

This is one of those masks that is just fun to try ( remember the Bawdy ones😂) at least once. Would love to try this in the summer, after a day of being out in the sunshine ☀️, would definitely repurchase!

I think you would enjoy them, @Shosh85. Ideally they would be best if you could just have a seat and relax for a bit, but not sure how feasible that is in real life😆

@eshoe   Oh my gosh I could really use that one right now! 😭after hiking up a mountain yesterday my legs are going to fall off.  I’ve got kyusoku Jikan cooling sheets stuck to my shins and calves which is helping but boy do those look good!

Oooh I had to research those, @heartsmyface - sounds like a must-have for summer! If they last at least 30 minutes, it would be so worth it. I bet that exercise felt lovely. Cathartic might be the word I am looking for😌

Oh how interesting, @eshoe! I bet these would be a nice relaxing mask after a day out in the sun.

Yes I agree, @quspork! I questioned whether or not trying them in the winter would be a good idea, but I’m glad I did. Summer would be even better;)
