Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐Ÿ’—

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

I have noticed the powder as a mini, but not the masque. I find it hard to throw away skin care that doesn't wow me, so if you manage- all the power to you! @heartsmyface

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

A couple more "B" masks from last week. Will post a band name mask at another time.

B is for bubbles . . . for the face and the lips

B - Bubbles.jpg

Spoiler
I'm always a little nervous with bubble masks that the bubbles are going to get into my eyes. That anxiety is allayed a bit with this Berrisom Soda Bubble Mask - PoreTox Fruit is not a full sheet mask. It's a little larger than a half mask, covering my face from under my eyes to my chin/jawline and my nose bridge. Given my concerns about bubbles getting into my eye, I'm very mindful of how quickly the bubbles foam up on my nose bridge. Most times I'll snip off that section, but this time, I elected to keep it as is. The viscous but drippy essence in this mask has an effervescent fruity candy scent that, while not offensive, isn't very pleasant to me. This bubble mask has a fluorescent yellow-green (or is it green-yellow?) hue that reminds me of the color of lemon lime Gatorade and contains a print around the cheek area that resembles cheetah spots. The bubbles on this mask foam up quickly after I applied the mask. Instructions recommend leaving the mask on for 5-10 minutes and I'm sure my wear time was closer to the 5-minute mark before I removed it and rinsed off the bubbles and essence from my face.

There are three (3) different varietals in this line; this one claims to purify and detoxify the skin and tighten pores and the mask lived up to some, but not all, of its claims. I did not notice any tightening or shrinking of my pores. I did, however, notice that my pores were clear and decongested after using this mask, and my face looked refreshed and bright. These results to me are the best part of this Berrisom bubble mask. That said, however, I find that I can get the same or very similar results with a regular (non-rinse off) and non-bubble/foaming sheet mask. So, while this mask did not convert me into a bubble sheet mask fan, this Berrisom mask, as well as a Mediheal bubble mask I used last year, are probably the two bubble masks I would consider using again; that said, I wouldn't run out to buy one.

B is for Bawdy, and butt, bum, behind, bottom and brrr ... ๐Ÿ˜†

B - Bawdy + Bum.jpg
Spoiler
The Bawdy Beauty Shake It Marine Algae Butt Mask is so cold! B-r-r-r-r!!! The sheets put next to each other spell out the name of the particular butt mask; in this case, "SHAKE IT", which I think could be a catchy tune for a song. Not sure about how Bawdy or Marine Algae would fare as a band name, though. Eh, I'll try to post my band name mask later this week. Back to this butt mask though, even if you did shake it a lot, it's unlikely these sheets would come off - they adhere very well. You can definitely multi-task with these on if you so choose. So what's the bottom line (haha! pun totally intended) with this marine algae butt mask? I don't know about how well the mask performed as far as its firming and illuminating claims go, but it was fun. If I were to describe these this mask in a few words, I'd go with: cheeky, cold, and good for giggles.

Last time I used one of these bum beautifiers, I shared a pic of Gudetama's cheeks ๐Ÿ˜‰. Gudetama's too shy this time to parade his behind. lol.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi  I love that the masks you used are called, "Oops" and "Shake It!" Definitely sounds like an entertaining masking session! ๐Ÿ˜†

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Hahaha! If I were better coordinated @Shosh85, I would do these masks together. But I can see it being a recipe for disaster for me to shake anything let alone my bum while wearing a foaming bubble mask! Lol ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi  ...... well, it would kinda make sense - "shake it" followed by "oops!"  ๐Ÿ˜†

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

hahaha! Love it @Shosh85! Yes, the "oops" would definitely follow my shaking it! ๐Ÿคฃ Of course, it would! ๐Ÿ™„

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi Those sounds like fun masks!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Gotta make masking fun, right @Samtian?!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi Haha. Those butt masks are a real pick me up kind of product.  You canโ€™t help but smile while doing one.  I love sticker type masks as well. You can get things done in them.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@heartsmyface, these make for a good laugh! ๐Ÿ˜† I do like that they stay on. Got my laundry done, did some prep work for cooking, etc. All while masking my bum! Must-tasking at its best. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

At least the bubble mask was not a complete fail @itsfi love the "too shy" reference ๐Ÿ˜†

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Lol. Modesty when it comes to those butt masks @lmaster! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ Itโ€™s nice to have a couple of bubble masks I like if I were to want to use one. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Rock On ๐ŸŽธ  and B's

IMG_20210111_011608.jpg

-Animated Llama would make for a good band name, or maybe a DJ name? This Brightening mask works about as well as the similar Creme Shop masks. They're more cute than effective. The fit wasn't great, no discernable scent, wear time 25+ min. A bit brightening, a bit hydrating, not as cute as the penguin. C

-Generation Clay could be like a 90s style alt rock band name. Or a Clay Aiken cover band? This is a fine Clay mask, not my favorite, but nicely works to get into pores without over drying (if follow the wear time). I prefer the Origins, but for anyone who doesn't like how exfoliating that one is, this would be a good option.

-Dragon's Blood is SUCH a good band name. I'd go see them when this is all over. These were both fine. The eye masks help depuff and brighten my under eye. The lip mask was difficult to apply and I eventually figured out to take the second mesh, and the gel mask got all twisted. I eventually got it right and it was nicely hydrating (the night before I'd done a lip scrub, so my lips needed a little more TLC). Overall good. I wouldn't repurchase either, but would use again. B/B-

-I love the Hanalei masks, and the Lychee soothing one was no exception. I needed it after using the following two.

-Timeless Beauty Bar. Ooof these both were terrible. I got them from Ipsy. The Face the Day was a rough, paper texture which irritated my skin. I barely had it on 5 min and had to take it off. Maybe not enough a serum? But wow, was that a dream compared to the Glam and Glow one. This was immediately irritating and started to burn/tingle a bit. I took it off and things seemed okay that night but my skins been extra sensitive since then. Blah. D-/F

Your band names are excellent!! @haleyvvvv

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Thank you, @lmaster!!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Love the band names @haleyvvvv๐Ÿ˜ I'm looking forward to using that lychee mask; just have to work my way through a few more in the bin first. Does it smell like lychee?

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Thank you, @itsfi!! The mask didn't really have a lychee scent.

Spoiler
I am not sure what part of this mask made my skin tingle, but no ill effects occured from it. However, I'm not a fan of tingling skin without a cause and expectation, so this will be a pass in the future. It was a light, watery mask from recollection, and did not create tackiness.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@l8totheparty  Aw, yeah itโ€™s somewhat reassuring when masks tell you some tingling is expected so you can brace for it and not worry when you sense it.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@l8totheparty  Yup, I felt some  tingling with this one too. Sorry to hear you experienced the same thing ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ณ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Tingling can definitely be a unwelcomed feeling if you are not expecting it! @l8totheparty
