February | Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC. |
March | March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please! |
April | Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights. |
May | Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O. |

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
I double mask and have an extensive nighttime skin care routine, but 3 step masks always seem like too much work in my mind, lol. I'm glad this was a winner, @lmaster!! It sounds lovely, I'll have to keep a look out for it.
This is one of my most favorites! @haleyvvvv I think I originally received it in a facetory sub, which prompted me to purchase more ๐
@lmaster I'm so glad you enjoyed this one. I always tend to 'put off' 3 step masks and I honestly don't know why. Hmmm.... maybe something to consider this week.
@missjeanie yeah I know what you mean,,, some of the multi step masks have had a step that I am not going to use for some reason it another
@lmaster I'm happy you enjoyed all the steps on this one! You sent me the Collagen version and I remember loving it! ๐
Awwww yaaaaaaay!! @Shosh85 when I find a love, I try to share ๐๐ค
That's fantastic that all 3 steps were a win for you @lmaster! The combination of products in the 3 steps sound like they would be good ones to have in a multi-step pack. What was the consistency like for that Step 3 Refresh Essence? Do you recall if it was similar or heavier / thicker than the essence in the sheet mask?
Yes it did seem a bit thicker in consistency compared to the sheet mask @itsfi
Naisture seems to be consistently good for your skin, @lmaster! Hurrah for a multi-step that isnโt a pain ๐
@eshoe yes this multi step is so hydrating and brings my skin back!
I think this was a theme from sometime last week (masks with numbers):
111Skin Rose Gold Brightening Facial Mask:
It's a hydrogel mask with rose and 24k gold. It's advertised as brightening skin and reducing wrinkles/fine lines. I think I have mixed feelings on this one. I definitely wouldn't pay full price for it, first of all. It was very comfortable given it's a hydrogel; however, I think it would have worked better for me if it came in two pieces. It fit too large, so the chin part just kind of hung down and it kept sliding down my face. The floral fragrance was also a bit strong. There was some tingling, but in a good/refreshing way. I did feel like my skin felt smoother, glowy, and it stayed hydrated for the rest of the day. In sum, good results, but the fit made it a bit tricky to wear.
Ingredients:
AQUA / WATER / EAU, GLYCERIN, DIPROPYLENE GLYCOL, BENZYL GLYCOL, CARRAGEENAN, CERATONIA SILIQUA GUM, XANTHAN GUM, CELLULOSE GUM, PEG-60 HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL, ALLANTOIN, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, SYNTHETIC FLUORPHLOGOPITE, PRUNUS ARMENIACA (APRICOT / ABRICOT) KERNEL OIL, PANTHENOL, TREHALOSE, NIACINAMIDE, CITRUS PARADISI (GRAPEFRUIT / PAMPLEMOUSSE) FRUIT EXTRACT, ALCOHOL, CENTELLA ASIATICA EXTRACT, GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA (LIQUORICE / RรGLISSE) ROOT EXTRACT, AGAR, CYAMOPSIS TETRAGONOLOBA GUM, RASPBERRY KETONE, ADENOSINE, CALCIUM LACTATE, DISODIUM EDTA, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, GLUCOSE, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, PHENOXYETHANOL, SODIUM HYALURONATE, 1,2-HEXANEDIOL, PULLULAN, HYDROXYPROPYL METHYLCELLULOSE, PORPHYRIDIUM CRUENTUM EXTRACT, ROSA DAMASCENA (ROSE) EXTRACT, HYDROLYZED COLLAGEN, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, SILK AMINO ACIDS, GLYCINE SOJA (SOYBEAN / SOJA) OIL, SODIUM OLEATE, COLLOIDAL GOLD, HYDROGENATED LECITHIN, ACETYL HEXAPEPTIDE-8, FRAGRANCE / PARFUM, CI 77891 / TITANIUM DIOXIDE, CI 77491 / IRON OXIDE.
PARAFFIN AND SULFATE FREE.
Sounds like the results were nice, @PrettyPaint but for that price, I would definitely want a good fit too!
@quspork Totally agree. I think I got this from a subscription box, so definitely got it on sale!
Hmmmm... @PrettyPaint I often wish more masks were a two piece. Too bad about the fit on this one.
@missjeanie I think it definitely would have stayed on a lot better if it were two pieces. I don't usually have time to lie down when masking! ๐
@PrettyPaint I have a hard time imagining any mask that would really be worth that much - but definitely fun to try! Happy to the results were great!
@Shosh85 Totally. I definitely would never dream of paying full price. ๐
@PrettyPaint, we were mask twinsies! ๐ I think the consensus with this mask is that full price is a more than we'd pay for it. It's a nice mask to try.
@itsfi Oh I didn't even realize you tried this one too. I totally need to catch up on this thread...I'll be looking for your thoughts!
I think having mixed feelings about a pricey mask is better than falling in love with it, @PrettyPaint ๐
@eshoe That is a really good point! Thankfully, this one seems to frequently be in subscription boxes.
