March | March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please! |
April | Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights. |
May | Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O. |

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
I feel like some of these luxe sheets are way overrated @PrettyPaint so many great choices for much less ๐ฒ
@lmaster I completely agree. I haven't noticed any correlation between quality and price for the most part.
Its still Sunday night for me, so I'm counting as the first week still.
Both the PineApple and Avacado masks count toward "A" masks that need to be used right away (the Avocado Holika Holika mask expires on the 6th ๐ ).
Hanalei masks - Pear was the standout here, but both of these are lovely. Neither of them have an overwhelming scent and both have an okay fit. Tons of serum, like glop a bunch on the floor and am still able to cover my upper body with serum. A bit tacky, but I wear before (in) bed, so I don't mind. I got these with Ipsy add-ons (before I cancelled because they dislike their Canadian customers), with a few others and they've all been winners. I would definitely pick up if I could find.
Pear - A-
Pineapple - B (could have more brightening ingredients, but was brightening and hydrating so wins for doing both).
Holika Holika Avacado Mask - I snagged this out of the MOTM box because I wanted to try the brand. I grabbed for use thinking it was a nourishing mask, but was confused by the firming note. It is definitely nourishing a leaves my skin a bit bouncy. I'm just not sure what would be firming in the ingredients. Not too much scent, easy package (I really like how these masks open), okayish-good fit. Glad I tried. Would pick up another "flavor" from this brand but wouldn't buy this one unless a great deal. B-.
Package Everyday Bouncy - Gosh, this is cute packaging. Claims to make skin glowing and bouncing and it overall does, but not, like exceedingly. Nice tencil sheet. Okayish fit. Fair bit of serum. A scent, but dissipates quickly. B. [Can I count this as my band name mask too, lol? Everyday Bouncy sounds like a fun band].
boscia Luminizing Black Charcoal Mask 2.8 oz/ 80 g - I think I've had this open for a while now, so I want to use it up as I'm sure I'm approaching the POA date. I don't love these peel off type masks as much I have in the past, but this is one of my faves. I think using it once a month or so is how I'm going to proceed forward. Sundays are my deep clean charcoal mask days and for most of the year I've been using one that I don't like, so the last month or so, I've just been avoiding it and so felt that a good charcoal peel off was just what my skin needed. And it was great, made my skin look clearer and just felt nicer.
Some masks I've used recent ish but can't remember how they were beyond the Sweet Dreams mask having a lot of a scent. I have multiples of these, so I'll be using again soon.
@haleyvvvv Ouuhhh I like seeing all the masks together like this! Those Hanalei masks look so cute. I have a couple from ipsy as well. I only wanted them for the shape of the packaging but am glad to hear they worked out well for you and know to use them laying down now!
Thank you, @heartsmyface!! They don't have to be used laying down, I just often am when I mask.
I'm glad to hear you like the Hanalei masks, @haleyvvvv! I'm definitely looking to try some more of theirs out at some point.
looks like a couple of good ones @haleyvvvv !
Thank you, @missjeanie!! Surprisingly quite a few winners (although I was stacking the deck a little with the Hanalei ones).
@haleyvvvv Great masking! I've tried a lot of the Holika Holika masks from that line and I feel like most would get a B-ish grade.
I love the packaging on those Package mask - simple but cute. Glad this one was decent for you. ๐
Thank you, @Shosh85!! Its good to know about all of the Holika Holika masks being B ranged.
Good job with all your masks!! @haleyvvvv
@haleyvvvv, great bunch of masks! ๐๐ผ I also like how the Holika Holika masks open; itโs not a significant criteria for me when it comes to sheet masks but itโs something I appreciate. โEveryday Bouncyโ makes for a great band name! I love the illustration on the packaging from that brand too. ๐
Thank you, @itsfi!! All of the Package packaging is too cute. I may have bought a 10-pack of 4 of their different masks cause they were cute ๐.
Oooh I am interested in the Hanalei Pear and Pineapple masks, @haleyvvvv! I thought I had tried that brand, but turns out it just similar packaging. Thanks for the reviews, though-great start to the year๐๐ผ
Thank you, @eshoe!! If you come across them, I definitely recommend. I looked them up on their website and the 10 pack price I would pay, but would ideally seek a better deal.
I will be in the lookout, @haleyvvvv. Iโve only tried one pear mask, and while the scent is very subtle, the fit/adherence wasnโt the greatest. Thanks for the recommendation!
I double masked this morning thought the first one is more of a peel in my mind than a mask.
The Priori skin decoded natural enzyme peel &masque is lovely. Itโs a subtle citrus orange scented cream type mask that doesnโt dry down. You leave it on 10 minutes and remove with a cool cloth. Itโs so gentle. I experienced no burning whatsoever. My face afterward felt as though it had been lightly moisturized. None of that squeaky clean smoothness you get from regular enzyme peels though. I guess thatโs where they get away calling it a mask. I like it and will enjoy this one regularly (likely more often than the once a week they recommend)
A is for Ampoule. This is a thick but transparent finer mask that conforms nicely. The ampoule smells sooo good of rose water. This one claims to have 10percent demask rose water, root bark, witch hazel and Camรฉllia flower extract. Itโs quite soothing and the natural rose scent lingers the whole wear. My skin felt wonderfully hydrated and mildly tacky after wear. I didnโt notice any whitening. I would definitely do this one again!

@heartsmyface The Priori peel sounds awesome. Citrus orange scent in the middle of winter always makes me smile.
@missjeanie Me too. I like a stronger citrus scent than this has to perk me up.
