Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
Wow, @itsfi, the SNP impressed me most with the extra serum on the forehead-that is unusual for a biocell (in my experience, at least). Looks like one I am adding to my short list!
The bowl looks delicious, too. Between this and the olives you posted recently, your posts are give me serious cravings๐ At least it is for the healthy stuff, though, right;)
@eshoe, it seems like thereโs been some developments with bio-cell sheet masks and theyโve been good ones. All the ingredients for the acai bowl came from Trader Joeโs, right down to the grainless granola.
@itsfi The thinner bicellulose masks are wonderful once you get them on but I like how the thicker ones are easier to work with.
I have a ten out and one in rule until I can get the masks under control here but this one is going on my list:)
So true @heartsmyface! The thicker ones are definitely easier to apply. What I think that really means is that we need to just use more of these thinner bio-cellulose masks until we get the hang of it. ๐ Practice makes perfect.
Oooh, your 10-out, 1-in rule sounds good! ๐ I've finally gone through all my pre-2020 purchased sheet masks and, with the exception of a moderate end of the year haul last month, I was on a sheet mask no buy for the most part, since the stay-at-home started. I will try holding off on any more sheet mask purchases until this current stash falls under 30 masks. ๐ฌ
@itsfi I like the way you think! itโs got to get easier with practice;).
ahhh, youโre doing great! ๐๐ I have a feeling there are a few Iโll just be destashing. 30 is quite the goal. My first goal will be to get down to three bins from four. Omg, i just counted what a bin holds.. Iโll report on my progress in three months. ๐ญ
I hear you about the bins @heartsmyface! I told myself not to count what's inside them. ๐ This stay-at-home has definitely been good for helping me work through my stash. As has doing 2 sheet masks a day for a short period of time every few months. And de-stashing and either donating them or gifting them to a home where they will be used and loved.
You got this, hearts!!!
@itsfi @Two a day sounds like a plan! My skin appreciates when I do that but itโs not always easy to find the time.
i stopped masking with as much consistency since I started up yoga and it stole that time slot. Maybe mud masking would work during yoga sessions....
Iโm definitely going to have to rรฉhome a bunch even still. It might be cathartic to just let the bulk of it go and start fresh.
A is for Annieโs Way Blueberry bubble tea mask๐ซ
I really enjoyed this mask. It had a lovely blueberry scent. The sheet was thin and it fit pretty good. It was just a bit wide. I left it on for 20 minutes and there was still plenty of serum to massage in to my face. My skin felt very moisturized, soft, and smooth. I would definitely use this one again. Thank you so much @lmaster for sending it to me!
@faeriegirl these are so good!! So happy you enjoyed it!!
Wow blueberry ๐ซ, yum @faeriegirl! Annieโs Way is another brand that has the best fruity-scented mask.
Oooh, blueberry scented @faeriegirl? Sounds wonderful! Have you tried all the different flavors from this line?
@faeriegirl I still have this one in my stash to try, so I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it! The scent sounds wonderful! ๐ซ๐
My โAโ for the week, and how I started off 2021 - AโPieu Bananas!
@eshoe ohhhh yes!! The cold plunge is fabulous!!! And love a great banana mask ๐
Yes on both, @lmaster! Going to make a banana date shake this afternoon ๐
@eshoe Love the cold plunge mask. And the Apieu mask sounds like a delight!!
The cold plunge is so refreshing, @haleyvvvv! And as far as banana-scented masks go, this one is one of the sweetest and strongest, tooโบ๏ธ
Those are all good beauty products you used @eshoe. Something so good about a banana runt scented sheet mask from A'Pieu!
Yes, I think as far as fruit scents go, @itsfi, AโPieu packs a punch! Their icing bar masks, the melon one-is so, so good, too.
@eshoe I'm so happy you enjoyed the Banana mask! The scent really is sooo good isn't it?! Definitely one of my favorites! ๐๐
