Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@lmaster I want to smell it!!

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Arenโ€™t these masks great @lmaster?!! Itโ€™s making me want an actual blueberry smoothie. ๐Ÿ˜‹

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi ohhhhh these are so good!!! Why oh why!!

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

I know, right @lmaster! ๐Ÿ˜  Makes me wonder if we said they were just โ€œmehโ€ if theyโ€™d manufacture them in mass?! ๐Ÿคจ I mean of all the sheet masks to discontinue?!! Baffling. Utterly baffling.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

B is for Brightening and Bemliese

Brightening + Bemliese.jpg

Spoiler
Inna Organic Neroli Brightening Facial Mask is the last of the masks from this line I had left to try. The 100% cotton linter Bemliese material leans on the thinner side as far as sheet mask density goes and has a light tan hue to it, which is attributable to the cotton being unbleached. The essence is on the watery side, but because of how absorbent the material is, there's no dripping, and it smells like a mix of neroli oil, and something citrusy as well as a sharp and herbaceous scent that I'm not able to pinpoint. It's not my favorite scent but it dissipates quickly. I left the mask on for my usual half hour but could have kept it on longer, maybe another 20, possibly 30 minutes longer actually; there's a lot of essence in this one. As for the results, well, they weren't kidding with the brightening claims. My complexion looked dewy and bright. My skin felt nourished as well after the essence was completely absorbed. Having tried all the masks from this line, this brightening mask and the mattifying one are my favorites. โค๏ธ

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Love it when a mask lives up to it's claims @itsfi !

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Exactly @missjeanie; exactly!! ๐Ÿ˜ These Inna Organic masks are good. And, the brand also makes serums that appear to be based on the serums in the sheet masks. Oh yes, you know what that means. A future skincare purchase is practically inevitable! ๐Ÿ˜† My โ€œno buyโ€ plans seem to have already turned into a โ€œlow buyโ€ and itโ€™s not even 2021 yet. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜”

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Sounds like some great results, @itsfi!

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

I was very pleasantly surprised @quspork! Dewy, glowy and nourished skin! โ™ฅ๏ธ

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  Besides the scent it sounds just about perfect! Love the results you got from this one! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

This line was pretty good @Shosh85. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ I guess I shouldnโ€™t be too surprised. It seems that most, if not all, Taiwanese masks Iโ€™ve used have worked very well for my skin. Curating staples for my mask library is going to be harder than I thought it would be, and I hardly thought it would be a piece of cake.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi Ooh I like the sounds of this one! I love Neroli scents.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@Samtian, if it were just the neroli I smelled, I would have been happy. There's something sharp in there that makes the fragrance less great than it could be, but that part doesn't linger so much which is good.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi That's good that doesn't linger!

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi nice! Love a nice glowy complexion ๐Ÿ˜Š

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Right @lmaster? This would be a great mask to use before makeup.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

I havenโ€™t been masking much lately but hereโ€™s hoping I can hop back into it.
i decided to go for the Rodial dragons blood  biocellulose eye and lip patches.  Dragons blood is supposed to be anti microbial and antibacterial as well as a good second skin barrier.  I absolutely love how the patches just disappear onto my skin cause theyโ€™re so thin and clear.  They come between two protective layer of paper so theyโ€™re not too difficult to work with.  But if you accidentally fold one like I did good luck;) It was actually hard to capture them in a photo But you can sorta see them.  Thereโ€™s a little mouth slit on the lip mask so youโ€™re not forced into silence for 20 minutes.  The serum has no real scent and is a bit tacky.  It really plumped you my skin but again, I havenโ€™t been doing skincare or caring much at all for my skin so doing anything at all is going to show drastic results.
