This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

Ooooh, how are you liking the Miss Piggy balm @missjeanie?! 

Yeah, I hear ya. It's hard for me to declutter; well, unless it is just well past its prime or causes me to breakout and I can't find a good way to repurpose it. I'm working on being better at it, but like you, lip balms sorta get a pass from being a candidate for decluttering. I don't know why; that's just the way it goes. 🤣

I just tried the Miss Piggy balm today @itsfi  so I can't really comment on how long wearing it is etc etc... However, The packaging is fantastic, kind of reminds me of the milk lipsticks a bit, it's a good weight, has a click magnetic closure and ... so totally only something a big beauty fan would appreciate, but there are imprints on the bullet of positive moi affirmations, and it's a touch that I love.  The pigment isn't super strong, it's very much in the tinted balm category and not a sheer lipstick, a lighter pink colour that you'd expect from a Miss Piggy moment.  So far I really like it.  It makes me smile to see it, I feel like the packaging is excellent, and the balm feels nice, it's got some slip to it, but I like that it feels thinner and slippier as it is a balm.  It's no lip mask by way of hydration, but I'm okay with that.  So far I'm super happy that I picked it up.  And I'm even happier that I snagged it on sale.

I meant to post this last week...

This seemed like it could work for a band name (or probably a song would be better), and the actual mask looks a bit rock n roll.

It was the "You Can't Handle This Sheet" from Jeju:en. It is a Volcanic Ash/Purifying mask. It fit well/closely. It was a little large, but there were lots of pre-cut folds to make it fit. It had a refreshing, slightly flowery smell, but pleasant enough. While wearing it, there was a cooling feeling/light tingling sensation. My face soaked up all the serum quickly (pretty thin). It wasn't moisturizing (but I don't think it's supposed to be). I definitely wanted some moisturizer afterwards. It was a fun mask though probably not a repurchase and probably better suited for summertime.

@PrettyPaint  The masks in this line are super fun - love the names and pictures on them!  I've never tried this one, but it does sound like a good one to try in the summer. Glad to hear it was a pleasant experience! 😉😃

I love the mask names in this collection @PrettyPaint! They're very clever and cheeky.  😁 Too bad this particular one wasn't suitable for this time of the year. Have you tried any of the other masks from this line?

@itsfi  I haven't tried any others from the line. I believe this brand is new to me, but after looking at the other options from this line, I think I may be seeking out some more! 🙂

Final masking for last week, a Wonder and a Dud:

Ice globes are the tools I didn’t know I needed until @sprocketta surprised me with these. I keep them in the fridge rather than the freezer (which I am almost certain I would forget to remove after 10 minutes), and use them primarily under my eyes and on my closed lids. They are so incredibly soothing, and give my skin relief from lack of sleep. The most amusing thing is that the ingredients include Water, HA, peppermint, panthenol, and citric acid. Now, I am trying to wrap my head around how these are necessary/beneficial given that glass is non-porous 🤔 Whatever the reason, I love them and am very grateful to sprocketta for thinking of me! 

The BlingPop Cucumber Face Mask Hydrating and Brightening is the second I’ve tried from this brand. The lemon 🍋 was higher rated but carried a scent leaning toward cleaner and did not adhere well. This was much different. A light cucumber mint scent greeted me, with an easy fit and a generous amount of watery serum. I left it on around 25 minutes and removed to find pleasantly plumped skin. I’m glad I have a backup, this was a good mask that I will happily repeat!

Finally, the fail of the evening for me was the Innisfree Green Tea Capsule Recipe Pack. It is an overnight mask, with the typical fresh/clean scent and water-cream texture. I didn’t mind it, but wasn’t wow’ed by it until I woke up with little white blemishes covering my face🤦🏻‍♀️ At least the Volcano mask was a hit 🙂

@eshoe I'm glad you like them so much! It definitely took some searching and thought to come up with any skincare item you don't already have. I think it's hilarious that they're "infused" with anything.

They are so fun to use, @sprocketta! I love that they are glass, so they won’t pick up on any vegetable scents while in the fridge;) Love them, they are going to be GREAT in the summertime 🏝

They are really nice, @ather! Mine have little ‘handles’ which I guess helps the water inside remain cold. Makes them easy to handle, too. I love mine, can’t thank @sprocketta enough for thinking of me:)

@eshoe  That cucumber mask is really adorable. Love the packaging. That's too bad about the innisfree. I think I may actually have that laying around somewhere. I wonder what ingredient caused the blemishes?
