Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
@eshoe That cucumber mask is really adorable. Love the packaging. That's too bad about the innisfree. I think I may actually have that laying around somewhere. I wonder what ingredient caused the blemishes?
@eshoe, is your skin sensitive to silicones? That Innisfree masks seems to have quite a few silicones in it and I wonder if it's too much for your skin alone or in combination with the other mask or skincare products in your routine. @PrettyPaint
@itsfi thatโs an interesting observation ๐ค I use an SPF loaded with silicones (Dermstore Daily Mineral Sunscreen), but only on my forehead. Since the white bumps covered mostly cover my cheek area, that would make sense!
eta: also, a sleeping mask like this is likely to be on my skin longer than my spf, which might be the cause for the breakout - the silicones stopped up my pores for too long.
@PrettyPaint Iโm not sure yet, my skin isnโt sensitive but I noticed all day today itโs been redder than normal with a noticeable dark patch on one cheek. Hoping it goes away by morning, at least:)
@eshoe Oh yikes. I'm just now catching up on posts, but I hope your skin is fully recovered now.
Much better, @PrettyPaint - spent the day in the pines and I think it was just what my skin needed:)
Totally thought that was gonna be a pickle mask @eshoe ! lol, glad it wasn't!
Hey I could go for a pickle mask, @missjeanie! If I end up with a mask maker, Iโm going to try it just for the fun of it. In the meantime, I guess I could use pickle slices instead of cucumbers for soothing my lids?
โ
@eshoe I totally expect a pickle juice mask to the first one you test out! lol I'm sure there's a study somewhere advocating for it... pretty much just vinegar and cucumbers no?
Add some pickling spices and youโre set, @missjeanie! Somehow I donโt think the scent would be soothing though;)
@eshoe Oh, the rollers sound so refreshing! I bet it's even better in the summertime!
So sorry to hear your skin didn't like the Innisfree mask! That's never a fun a surprise! ๐ข
Yes the rollers can seem extra chilly right now, I am so excited to try them in the summer months @Shosh85! And another positive about the innisfree at least it was just a one/two use pod๐๐ผ
C is for Cookie. ๐ช (Any one else think of Cookie Monster when they read that?๐)
C is also for coconut oil, dark chocolate and The Creme Shop
The Creme Shop My Melody Softer Than Cookies Sheet Mask
This is a pink cotton mask with cute little animated pictures on it. (I took a picture, but I can't seem to find it now) I'm not too good at describing scents, but to me it was a very sweet, floral-perfumy smell. I'm usually pretty sensitive to anything floral or perfumy, but I think because of the sweetness of this one it didn't bother me much. It had a classic Creme Shop fit โ too wide, too long at the chin, a tiny bit too long at the forehead, and the bridge of the nose between the eyes was too wide.
I kept it on for about 25 minutes. When I removed it my face was noticeably brighter and so refreshed. It didn't take long for the leftover serum to absorb and I was left with incredibly soft and smooth skin โ I mean it was seriously sooo soft! The hydration from this also seemed to last quite awhile.
I didn't love the scent, but the results definitely make up for it.

ETA: The mask (picture is not mine)
@Shosh85, there are a host of good masks in the TCS x Hello Kitty and Friends collab and this particular one is among my favorites within that collection. ๐ Happy to hear the results were good for you too! Awwww, cookie monster!!!! I would support a collab between The Creme Shop and Sesame Street. ๐
@Shosh85 Ahhhh the mask is the cutest! I love the Cookie Monster reference I totally thought it before I red your comment!
Love the Cookie Monster reference @Shosh85 ๐ one of the best parts of Sesame Street, besides my favorite Oscar the Grouch:)
@eshoe It's so hard to pick a favorite, I just love them all! Haha!
..... went to look for an Oscar the Grouch meme and this is the first thing that came up: ๐
I seriously get that song in my head every time I see this mask @Shosh85 . Every. Time.
@missjeanie Haha! Right?! "Cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C".....๐ช๐
