Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  What a great theme! ....All of a sudden I have craving for avocados. Haha! That toast looks delicious! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿฅ‘

Happy to hear you're enjoying the Garnier mask line! That papaya one is definitely a favorite, and so is this line, especially for the price. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

I love avocados @Shosh85๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿฅ‘ My skin was happy with ending the week with a bunch of avocaDO masks. ๐Ÿคฃ Oh yes, 100% agree, I think the papaya mask is the best one of the Garnier Fructis line and you just can't beat the price!

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Love the AvocaDO theme here.  @itsfi mmmmmmmm

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Thank you @missjeanie! ๐Ÿค— Weโ€™ll blame my craving for avocado toast ๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿž on Friday for enabling the avocaDO ๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿฅ‘ masking sessions this weekend! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

I was watching a 5-minute crafts beauty hacks video this morning and I saw this ๐Ÿ˜ณ

DIY fruit and veggie mask maker?!?! I know what is going on my Christmas wish list ๐Ÿ˜‚

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe That is interesting. The mask looks like cat food.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@Samtian technically, you are correct.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe The kittens eat pate style food so that is immediately what I thought of haha.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe  Omg. Soooo cool!!!

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

It looks fun @ather, and I finally found a simple mask mold without the machine (which...whatever is that for, idk) for around $12. Looking forward to playing around with it, sounds like an experiment for the little ones, too๐Ÿ˜‰

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Wow, now that's interesting, @eshoe. It looks more effort than I'm willing to put in lol, but I'd be so curious to hear reviews on how it actually works out from anyone who does decide to pick one up. I can only imagine how easy it would be to create a mask that could irritating to skin though.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

I think there is potential there, @quspork, but  I am wondering just how much of a chemist you need to be to make something worthwhile. I does it stick together, and could I just use it to make jello masks? (Actually it appears there are lots of recipes for gelatin peel-off masks, so who knows๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ).

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Whaaaaaa? I have not see it. @eshoe So intrigued. Does it have reusable or plain sheets that the fruit goes onto in the tray?

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

I havenโ€™t looked into it further, @Weetart but I will update if itโ€™s anything worth delving into. Iโ€™m not completely sold on it yet!

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe  That is so cool. I never have seen such a thing. I'm definitely curious what the fit would be like from the mold.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

In the back of my mind, I am thinking disaster @PrettyPaint- but it might be lots of fun, too!

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe  Oooh, that looks fun! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ I'd be curious to know how much fruit you'd need for one mask ๐Ÿค”

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Me too, @Shosh85 , though I imagine you could use slices too, to make it look pretty ๐Ÿคฉ

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

lol @eshoe I've seen this advertised a few times in my social media feeds.... I was wondering how long it would take for someone here to take the plunge!

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

What were the reviews like, @missjeanie? It seems super-gimmicky, but I am so curious!

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

I didn't see any reviews @eshoe , just people saying that they were ordering it.  I thought it could be fun to do with various serums you love, but it could also be as much 'work' as fun. The ads I saw had most people pouring orange juice into the machine to do a straight up OJ mask.   I enjoy a good DIY, but I thought I'd be too lazy to ever actually use the machine.  If I see it pop up again I'll take another look.

K-- I just said a whole bunch of sheet mask machine stuffs out loud, so I'm sure I'll start seeing ads anytime now. lol
