Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@Danielle103  Aww, well that's disappointing! I stopped buying Sephora masks because of the strong/bad fragrance. Sorry to hear this one was a bummer!

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@Danielle103  Awww, that's too bad about the smell. I would have hoped it had a nice coconut scent.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@Danielle103 I wasn't too fond of the scent either

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

So Excited when I saw these masks, had to get them. After spending a week camping in the outdoors for Thanksgiving it was time I was able to use it! 🍿

Fit? Not bad, the above the lip part was annoying so I actually just "hung" it on my nose. Only a slight extra roz { trying out a nickname for the extra chin part. I don't know why but everytime I thought to what to call it. This character from monsters Inc came to mind.}

Smell?not popcornπŸ™ but did have a pleasant mix of honey & butter

Consistency? The serum was on the lighter side but still had a good, thicker consistency. It was clear. I was afraid of the butter but no issues with it being oily.

Ease of use?no issues, I even ate some pie with this mask - after hanging the bit on my noseπŸ˜‚

Would I  purchase/try again? Absolutely. I left this on for about 30 min. Extra serum in the pouch. Everything soaked in with absolutely no tack. I dont think drier types would be to impressed with this mask but for my oily skin, it was perfect. Finished off with some farmacy honey moisturizer & called it a night. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@sonnydee, pie and masking? πŸ’‘ I haven’t tried that but now it’s on my to do list. Of course I have to ask, what kind of pie? πŸ˜†

This mask looks so fun (I snacked on some popcorn while reading your review, because why not?! 😊) but it might not be hydrating enough for my skin this time of year. I may keep it in mind and be on the lookout for it when summer rolls around again.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Pumpkin complete with cool whip😍 @itsfi yea, it was a lightweight hydration. Good for me but I could see it being not so great for drier types. It was a fun mask.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Oooh, yummy pie selection @sonnydee! πŸ₯§

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@sonnydee  How perfect would these be for a movie night.  I love that they're suitable for pie eating as well!

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

As long as you get the above lip part out the way @missjeanie if not, you will have a mess on your hands & mask....lesson learned from experience

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@sonnydee  Mmm, honey and butter sound delicious! Glad these were such a big hit! Definitely seems like it'd be a great party favor too! 🍿

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

One of my sons who loves popcorn kept grabbing these off the counter I set them on thinking they were popcorn packs!πŸ˜‚ @Shosh85 im really happy he didn't try to microwave them! 😬🍿🍿🍿

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@sonnydee  Haha! I'm not surprised! They totally need to write, "not for consumption" on the front, in big bold letters πŸ˜‚

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

I think when he didn't feel or hear the kernels he knew something was wrong, luckily. πŸ˜‚ @Shosh85

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

The packaging is so cute! @sonnydee

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

They are! @Weetart. @Lmaster happy i found them

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@sonnydee  Oh, yay! I'm so happy this was a good one. Where did you purchase it from?

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

EBay is where I bought these from (US seller). I have found some international sellers that carry them. @PrettyPaint

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

Thanks! @sonnydee. Maybe that's why I haven't seen them. I will definitely do some investigating.

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

I found them by accident really @PrettyPaint I went looking for the grapefruit apieu....

Re: Mask of the Week Challenge

@sonnydee this sounds really good!! Happy to see it was a winner!! Very cool mask

Spoiler
The Neogen was a much needed mask this week. I woke up with flaky skin (I’m on a tretinoin journey and my impatience shows up in flakes). I put the mask on and right away my face felt soothed. The milky serum wasn’t oily but it did feel silky on my hand while applying. I didn’t note the scent which to me means that it wasn’t amazing, nor was it offensive. I had the mask on for about 30 minutes when I just had to take it off to eat. Food first right? Well I took the mask off carefully and did some snacking I folded the mask and used it as a sort of wipe around my chin area (the worst of the flakes were here). I usually toss masks right away but it felt so nice to keep massaging this on my skin and there was still plenty of serum left on the mask. Afterwards my skin did feel super tacky. This is probably the most tack I’ve ever noticed on a mask, but I topped off with a moisturizer and it was gone. I’m super happy to have more of these because I know myself... I’m going to go hard again with prescription and need them.

The Victoria secret coco calm mask was an amazing fit. I frankly didn’t have super high hopes for a mask from a lingerie company, but the fit was so perfect. The serum on the mask was okay, no coconut scent like I’d hoped, which I know... I should appreciate no fragrance, but I enjoy tropical beach scents. I was a bit nervous since coconut oil had made me break out in the past but I’m starting to think I might be okay with a wee bit of coconut extract. Not a theory I want to delve heavily into, there are enough other great ingredients for moisture that I don’t need to worry about this one not being for me.  Would I re purchase? No, it wasn’t a knock out, and I’ll avoid coconut if I notice it, so it’s not for me, but I certainly wasn’t mad at the mask and will try more from the brand if I find myself in a store and they’re there.
