G is for Grapefruit. This Aโ€™pieu mask was very relaxing and has a fresh grapefruit scent. Most certainly qualifies as a filler mask. Fits terrible areojns the nose. No matter how adjust there are large areas that remain uncovered. The sheet is thin and well saturated with left over serum. Overall I like it and would buy again if cheap.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Even if itโ€™s just a filler mask, @Weetart - the scent has me so curious!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe @lmaster yeah, great filler. I have a few peaches left, the grapefruit is so refreshing though!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Weetart I'd love to try this one!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Weetart  I haven't tried this one yet but it sounds nice! I really love the banana one!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85 yaaas on the banana!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Placenta for gross week....... but it really isn't that gross, since it's just soybean placenta- it just sounds gross. ETA: oops, the last placenta mask I used had soybean placenta (soybean phytoplacenta extract) so I just assumed this one was the same - but this one has "hydrolyzed placental extract," which I guess comes from some kind of actual placenta? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ณ

Mediheal Placenta Revital Essential Mask Ex

This is a thin cotton sheet mask that soaking in a silky serum and had a light floral scent that wasn't too noticeable while the mask was on. I kept it on for about 25 minutes. When I removed it I pressed in the remaining serum that felt slightly tacky, but it all absorbed in a couple minutes. My face looked brighter and felt a little plumped and moisturized.

This was great mask, with some great results. I'm not so sure I'd pay retail for this one, but I'd definitely repurchase at a good discount or if spotted at TJ Maxx/Marshall's.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Okay so as a soybean placenta mask I was just meh on it, but now that it's actual placenta and therefore the gross factor has been upped... I'm waaaayyy more interested to try it @Shosh85 !

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@missjeanie  Haha! Right!? Definitely makes it more exciting! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Interesting itโ€™s a new type of placenta! I could swear we debated this before @Shosh85 @lmaster @ShortErica . Wasnโ€™t the soybean belly button a topic of discussion ๐Ÿค”

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe  I remember the belly button discussion ๐Ÿ˜‚ this diagram looks like a lady dancing/leaping in the air to me. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Ha it does, @Shosh85! I just envisioned something much cuter out there to post, but this was the best I could come up with;)

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

That's actually a really cute diagram @eshoe awwwww look at the baby bean ๐Ÿ˜†

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

It cracks me up, @lmaster  ๐ŸŒฑ

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe I remember hearing about soybean placenta but not animal derived in masks. Thanks for the diagram

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Yes I remember ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ that the mask I tried was plant-based, @ShortErica. Thereโ€™s only so much I am willing to try for my skin!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85 I looked it up, and I'm getting that it is an animal derived ingredient,,, wonder which animal.. interesting for sure

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@lmaster  Right? It sounds like it comes from pigs?๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿค”

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85 wow that's one I've not seen before!!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Hmm..yeah, I'd be curious what kind of placenta @Shosh85. Wouldn't stop me from trying though. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Yay for good results!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ShortErica The Tony Moly mask I used recently had soybean placenta and for some reason I just assumed that's what this was too.  Everything I've read online so far about "hydrolyzed placental extract" says it's from kind of actual placenta. ๐Ÿง (I'll have to keep reading more into that)

It definitely seems like the most unique/weirdest ingredients give the best results!
