Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I grew up with a small rose garden so the scent really does phase me anymore ๐Ÿคท but i know some don't like it so I thought i would mention & the strength & that it lasts. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ˜ฌ @Shosh85 @ShortErica

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Thanks for the warning about the scent @sonnydee. Definitely not the mask for me but I'd probably still try it. Glad to hear the scent and results were great for you! I love the sleek and clean packaging.

โ€ƒS for Shame & H for holy cow!

Mini loves poppy & trolls. So weeks ago I almost got the set direct but managed to talk myself out if it due to my current stash size๐Ÿ˜ and im so glad I did!

Fit? Such a shame. It was wide & the mask itself was really loose. Like holy cow! What happened? It so stretched out The holes also didn't line up with your eyes, nose so you had to overlap pieces of the mask itself to try to get some use out of it.

Smell?clean scent + typical sheet mask scent mix

Consistency?thin but not drippy. The mask did have some decoration on it- rainbows, stars & such. I forgot to take a pic ๐Ÿ˜•

Ease of use? After you maneuver it & tear off the above lip part it stays pretty well but its all bunched together so its a tad annoying. It couldve lasted longer but i removed it at the 20 min mark.

Would I  purchase/try again? It does give good results my face did have a nice glow & it felt balanced after using. I would skip over this one in particular if i saw it again but i will use up the ones I have

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Your description has me giggling @sonnydee. How many maskโ€™s fit can be categorized as โ€˜such a shameโ€™ ๐Ÿ˜‚
Thankfully this one sounds like a pass for me.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

What a bummer that the mask was a partial bust, @sonnydee. The packaging on it is so cute!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Darn, that is a big letdown @sonnydee. Hopefully the other ones don't stretch and are cut for a better fit.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@sonnydee  Well that's too bad! The packaging really gets you excited for it. Does the mask have any kind of print on it?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

It had little pics on it- rainbow & stars. @Shosh85

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

That is a major shame!!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@lmaster agreed. I hope it was just a bad one in the batch or something๐Ÿคท

Buddying up with this Superfood Salad Soothing mask ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿต

Spoiler

Farmskin Superfood Salad Soothing Green Tea Sheet Mask

This is a thin tencel sheet mask that soaking with plenty of serum, and had a light green tea scent. The fit was good - just a little bit too long at the chin/jawline, and the eye holes were just slightly too small for my preference. The adherence was good except for the extra length at the chin that popped up once or twice. I took it off after about 30 minutes. There was some very light tackiness that went away in less than 5 minutes. My face felt soft, smooth and lightly moisturized and my complexion looked a little less dull.

So far I think all these salad masks have been great and have been a pretty solid line! Nothing amazing, but gets the job done. I'd repurchase if I came across them at TJ Maxx/Marshall's, but I'm not so sure I'd pay full price for them.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I really do enjoy these @Shosh85 luckily I've been gifted these because I've never seen them anywhere lol

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@lmaster  I've seen them a couple places, but Marshall's definitely has the best deal I've seen! It would be hard for me to pay more than Marshall's price for them ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Very true @Shosh85

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I wondered how the green tea scent would be for your nose @Shosh85. I thought it was an acceptable level. I agree there's no big wow but I like these. I'm afraid to look at full price. With a lot of masks I've found at TJ Maxx/Marshalls I'm like no way I'd pay real prices!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ShortErica  Actually, now that I think about it, full price really isn't that bad. The 7 pack at Fred Meyer is $14.99 and Amazon sells it for $12.99. It's just hard to pay even that for them, when Marshall's is selling/sold them for $7. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป

I have enjoyed this line of masks, and I think the concept of it is pretty fun! ๐Ÿฅ—

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85  Looks like a good, low-maintenance mask. I find the packaging really appealing too.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@PrettyPaint  Yup, exactly! This one is a nice one! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Still working on my Q masks...This time, Q is for a sheet mask that quietly quenches dehydrated or dry skin and is quintessentially "Papa Recipe quality", making it, without question, one to keep in the queue! ๐Ÿ˜
Papa Recipe Pepta Honey.jpeg
Spoiler
Mask Material, Essence & Noteworthy Ingredients
Papa Recipe Bombee Pepta Ampoule Honey Mask Pack is one of two new sheet masks to the Papa Recipe Bombee Honey family and, from my perspective it is a welcome addition to a collection already full of fantastic masks. The thin, soft material of the mask is Hanji,  which is traditional handmade paper made from a mulberry tree native to Korea. It is thoroughly saturated, though neither dripping or heavy, with a clear, ever-so-slightly-viscous essence bearing a light, sweetened honey scent that reminds me of a less sweet, more toned down version of the fragrance in the Secret Key Honey Banana Mask Pack that has sadly been discontinued.  The essence is chockful of wonderful skincare ingredients, including extracts of honey, propolis and royal jelly, five forms of hyaluronic acid, copper tripeptide, ceramide, panthenol, centella asiatica and licorice root, to name a few.

Adherence & Fit
Adherence on this mask was near perfection and fit easily followed suit with a few, very minor adjustments - I took off about 1/8" from the chin, jawline and placed the sliver of a strip over my forehead to make it reach to my hairline. Width was just a smidge wide at the temple, too small to even bother over. I made a few small incisions to the corners of the eyes and mouth holes to make the mask lay and wear more comfortably and to ensure that none of the essence went into my eyes or mouth. I also deepened the slits for the sides of the nose so the material would lay better along the sides.

Performance & Results
I left the mask on for my usual half hour but there's so much essence in this mask that I probably could have easily kept it on for an additional 20, maybe even another 30, minutes without issue. For as much essence remains after removing the mask, it does absorb quickly and smoothly into the skin and once it's been fully absorbed, my skin feels soft, bouncy, hydrated and moisturized, so moisturized, in fact, that I didn't feel the need to apply my moisturizer until just before I went to bed. A definite mask for the dry or dehydrated skin types among us! ๐Ÿ˜ This is one mask that I would happily use again, and again, and again. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi Love all the q's! Haha! I think you hit your Q quota. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Oooh, I want to try the new ones soon! This one sounds wonderful, especially the scent! *sigh* I miss that Secret Key sheet mask - it was one of my most favorites. Just another reason I need to try this one ๐Ÿ˜‰ Glad you enjoyed it!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85, lol! I had planned on using this one during H week and P week and for one reason or another never got around to it. I was determined to make it work and get in whatever Q I could come up with! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚

I love that Secret Key mask! So good! Iโ€™m bummed itโ€™s been discontinued. Who makes these decisions?!! ๐Ÿ˜†
