Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

This is one of my favorite masks @Weetart! πŸ’– Love the scent, love the results! Perfect year round, but so fitting for the fall!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Same here @itsfi ! It's one that I actually get through a full container, then actually have to purchase a new one. A must on the shelf. Scrubby wise I also really like OLEHENRIKSEN Pore-Balanceβ„’ Facial Sauna Scrub 3 oz/ 85 g it leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft as a baby bottom. I haven't tried OLEHENRIKSEN Cold Plunge Pore Mask 3 oz/ 90 mL ... why haven't I?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Weetart @itsfi  The sauna scrub is one of my favorites to use, especially in the winter because of its warming effect. Mmm, feels so nice!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

100% agree @Weetart. πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ There are few wash off masks that I repurchase as a full size, and the PTR pumpkin is one of them. Ooouh, very good to know - I have a mini set with that OH sauna scrub. It leaves your skin soft and smooth like a baby’s bum? πŸ€” Well then, I definitely need to give it a go soon. The Cold Plunge Pore is a nice one; I was β€œmeh” about it the first time I tried it but gave it another shot and have really liked having it as part of my mask stash. 😍 The cooling sensation and color are added perks. πŸ˜‰

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

This refreshing gel mask helps refine texture & brighten to boost skin’s clarityβ€”leaving you looking luminous.

A juicy burst of hydration for skin, this SuperFruit mask with Dragon Fruit & Vitamin C helps boost radiance to improve skin’s clarity. Crushed Walnut Shell exfoliators gently exfoliate & refine skin’s texture, and Tangerine, Lemon & Blackcurrant leave you feeling refreshed.

I didn't notice anything, but than again my sample is from when they sent them out to be tested. This is the one with the walnut shells in it, so I will be discarding this.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Samtian I don't blame you for discarding it

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@lmaster It's a good lesson to remind myself, if I used things when they were new I wouldn't have to toss so much lol.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

It's too bad about the shells and lack of performance, @Samtian. I think I remember liking this one ok when they sent out the samples, but I honestly can't remember which one I preferred at the time.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@quspork Haha yeah it has been a while.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Samtian  Sounds refreshing! Too bad there’s walnut shells in it.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ather Agreed!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Samtian I haven’t tried this one, and now that I know there are walnut shells in it, can cross it off my list. Everything else about it sounds delicious!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe It does, but there were quite a lot of shells,I thought they were seeds at first.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Samtian  I'm not too fond of the walnut shells either - I voted for the Ginger Kombucha one πŸ˜‰

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85 Same here!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Sorry about the walnut shells @Samtian. The "juicy burst of hydration" sounds wonderful. I think I have this mask ... somewhere. Will have to look for it and then pair it with an actual dragonfruit for a snack. I know Samtian, it's always food and masks ~ what are we going to do with me?!! πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi I will never complain about seeing food lol.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

This one has walnut shells in it?

also darn, sorry to hear it wasn’t the best. I’ve been wanting to try this forever because I love their masks. Maybe that’s why this one isn’t stocked as much as others.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Weetart Yep. I wonder if they even make it anymore. Out of the two they had sent out this was definitely my least favorite, but I believe it won the popular vote.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Q is for Quret

Quret Brazil Nut.jpeg

Heavily saturated (but not dripping) in a clear, thin, and unscented essence, the soft, thin, Tencel material of the Quret Brazil Nut Mask Sheet clings gently and snugly to the skin, melding into the contours of my face. The spacing and shape of the eyes, nose and mouth need no additional adjustments. The width of the mask is just a hair too wide at the temples, hardly enough to require use of my mini scissors, which with this particular mask, is used to snip off about half an inch at the chin and jawline. The strip removed is more than enough for the sliver of my forehead not covered by the top portion of the sheet mask.

Half an hour passes very quickly as the mask wears so comfortably. With how saturated the mask still feels after my 30-minute masking sesh, it seems like an additional half hour could be had without the sheet mask going dry, which is something I'll try another day because, despite some tackiness after removing the mask and pressing in the remaining essence, the final results - hydrated, nourished skin - were very nice and perfect for my dehydrated, exhausted skin that feels like it is beginning to lean ever-so-slightly dry in certain parts of my face.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Unscented?? Interesting! @itsfi sounds like a comfy mask πŸ‘
