This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

A quartet, @ShortErica-some good skin love right there👍🏼 Though yes...the longer you mask, the less tolerant you can become of that ubiquitous ‘laundry’ scent. Still, considering that, these are some solid masks for everyday:)

O is for The Orchid Skin

Details: The Orchid Skin Hyaluronic Acid Mask is a soft, ultra thin "nude-cell" sheet mask saturated in a clear, lightweight watery essence that smells pleasantly of a blend of a light, slightly sweet lotion and a fresh, subtle fruity-floral scent that reminds me of pomelo.

What I Liked:

• Adherence is superb - it literally feels like you are not wearing anything - love it! 😍
• Fit wasn’t so bad; too large all around the perimeter of my face except the forehead area. The holes for the eyes and mouth were extra large too which were fine by me as I didn’t have to make any adjustments except for the perimeter.
• Results were outstanding - just the teensiest bit of tack to the touch after 30 minutes of wear and my skin looked and felt hydrated, plump and dewy. ❤️

Area(s) for Improvement: If I’m being very picky, there could be more material for the area above the lip - it’s a very thin strip that barely covers half of the length of the philtrum. Also, there’s added fragrance but as that is the last ingredient listed, it’s not a significant issue for me personally.

Would I Repurchase?: In a heartbeat. 💖

Thank you @lmaster! 🤗 I find the packaging on this one to be very pretty; I was definitely drawn in by the aesthetics. 😍 One of the stems from my orchid plant broke so I was trying to keep it going, and decided to use the broken stem in the photo.

Wow, @itsfi, what a treat this mask must have been! Curious if you picked up the Collagen. Their eye patches look interesting, too.

@eshoe, I have their eye masks and plan to give them a go this week, which I guess means I need to use them tonight or tomorrow. 😆 I have a few other masks from the brand; I think the collagen mask is one of them.

@itsfi  -- Is Orchid the brand?  Does the mask have fragrance of any kind?  I would anticipate since it is based on a flower most likely but I like the review and orchids are good plants.  Try as I might I never could get mine to re-bloom the next season.

@MCSSavvy, sorry for the delay in responding; I haven't been online regularly over the last few days and just saw your post. The brand is The Orchid Skin. I just looked at the back of the packet and added fragrance is the last ingredient listed. It wasn't an issue for me with this mask but I do have occasionally have sensitivity to fragrance and I know others do as well. 

I love orchids. 💖 I've had the most success with orchids re-blooming with those that I place near a window that has access to a good source of light, somewhere where the plant gets some but not too much direct sunlight, if that makes sense. And if I'm consistent with feeding it, too - 2-3 ice cubes depending on how large the orchid plant is, once per week. I've had a couple that I've had to say 'good bye' to, but have had one that's been doing really well for a few seasons now. *fingers crossed it keeps its track record.

@itsfi  Thanks for the info!  Orchids are beautiful and so glad to hear you have had some success on getting a few of yours to rebloom.  I do not get very much natural light in my flat in part due to shade from the tree in front and also due to the direction my windows face.  When I moved to my current flat I had some small potted palms and z-plants.  Unfortunately, the squirrels took a liking and alas I have pots but no plants!  LOL!  I'll look into the mask you tried.  I'm allergic to fragrance but if it's really lightly scented I may be ok with it.  😄

@itsfi  Sometimes the strip under the nose can be so skinny, it's a like thong for your face! 😂 This one sounds wonderful! Happy to hear you'd repurchase in a heartbeat!

Yessssss @Shosh85! You're a genius! That is an excellent way to describe it! 🤣 Whenever the strip covering the area above the lip is so thin I always wonder what happened at the design stage where they thought that would work?! Especially when there's so much extra width-wise all around and the length at the chin/jawline. Like, who thought making that strip just a bit larger than dental floss would make for good proportions?!!! 😆

Masks that make you hungry...

This was a light pink sheet with tons of extra clear bubbly serum in the package, I love how it had snips in most of the areas I would need to do myself, so that's a major plus for me! It's long at the chin area and did bunch in areas around the mouth, however it adhered very nicely to my under eyes and around my nose. The scent was great and fruity, watermelon did stand out more than anything. Wear time was 20 minutes, after removing,, my skin felt hydrated and moisturized and looked more vibrant and nourished,, very pleasantly surprised with this one!! I would love to add more to the family at some point, I didn't experience any tackiness or piling

Oh it sounds nice @lmaster. Is the material more similar to the Holika Holika aloe one or the Holika Holika essence line or something else?
