2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Tonight's 3 step mask was a gift from the ever so generous @eshoe Step1: the cleanser Fit? it's a creamy, frothy wash. it took off my mascara the 1st time. It has a shimmer to it, reminds me of the AP cleanser that I love Smell?it does have a fragrance to it. I like it, actually reminds me something from my childhood that I cant quite remember what...๐Ÿค” Consistency?cream, rinsed easy Ease of use?no issues Would I  purchase/try again?I wish they sold this individually! Step2: the mask Fit?typical fit, extra to wrap around the chin Smell?it did have a fragrance, pleasant like the cleanser but different Consistency?it is a black mask, drenched in a thinner clear serum Ease of use? I did have to fight with the eyes, at the beginning- the area was a tight fit. Would I  purchase/try again?this left my face felling soft & moisturized. I don't feel the need to add the serum yet- im waiting until morning for everything to soak in even more. it's not tacky but I think it might turn greasy if i added the serum. Which surprised me, being a charcoal mask. Will update tomorrow with step 3.

And today was the 1st day of school so my morning quickly...

And today was the 1st day of school so my morning quickly turned into my afternoon before i remembered I still need to do step 3. I woke up to soft skin that absorbed most of the hydration from the mask but I do think adding the serum would be overdoing it. The serum is thinner than baby oil & actually does kinda smell like it. it's more faint, not so powdery & in your face though. I think this would be a great charcoal mask for the drier types. For a oily girl like myself, i could use thisagain dragging out the steps or if my face was extra thirsty- like a day in the FL sun. But had i known this wasn't a true charcoal mask, I wouldn't of used it yet. So can't really rate but did enjoy the scent! ๐Ÿค— @lmaster @Shosh85 @eshoe @itsfi

Re: And today was the 1st day of school so my morning quickly...

@sonnydee are you kids doing remote learning or in person? Just curious how different every school is. My boys are doing Monday and Tuesday in person, Wednesday and Thursday remote. While my daughter she's 13 her school is 5 days a week in person.

Re: And today was the 1st day of school so my morning quickly...

We had a choice for all schools: in person, hybrid (what your boys are doing) & online. I only left the choice up to teeni & she choose in person. They missed it, especially my little ones.  @lmaster

Re: And today was the 1st day of school so my morning quickly...

That's exactly right @sonnydee they miss the structure and friends!

Re: And today was the 1st day of school so my morning quickly...

Yes, & all the "extra" google meets they had. ๐Ÿ˜• i had to print out a weekly schedule to keep up with them all. @lmaster

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Ohh interesting! @sonnydee would love to know the final results

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

@sonnydee  I haven't tried much from this brand and don't ever feel drawn to multi-step masks, but this one sounds like it's worth a try! Have you had a chance to try the 3rd step yet?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Soft, moisturized skin sounds good to me, @sonnydee

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Ok guess I need to get one of those for myself, @sonnydee ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜Š

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

I think your skin would really enjoy this @eshoe ๐Ÿค— thank you for sharing it with me!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

@sonnydee Wow. Love all of the steps that are marked clearly on the package

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Definitely took the guess work out๐Ÿ˜‰ @tjffc

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

it's been a while since i've been on here. my masking these days has been more contained, my skincare's been the same really. it's pretty much a mix of innisfree products and the ordinary and it fits "I" week. masking for me is innisfree Super Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Clay Mask or innisfree Super Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Clay Peel Off Mask every monday and thursday, followed by an innisfree sheet mask, usually the green tea or aloe one. i've been trying to do the daily sheet masking with the innisfree sheet masks and have an assortment of different flavors that i just pick from. it took some getting used to, the not having a bunch of different sheet masks to choose from, but i kinda like the uniformity of it. i know what i'm getting. every so often, i'll use another mask but it's mostly innisfree skincare with some serums and oils from the ordinary.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Finding what works and sticking to it sounds like a good plan. And you can always try a new mask if you are looking for something different @nuinui933. Have you tried other clay masks? What kind is this one, does it dry completely or stay wet?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

@nuinui933  Sounds like you have a nice routine! I've heard great things about the clay mask and it's even better that it's affordable! So happy to hear it's been working well for you! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Innisfree makes some lovely masks, @nuinui933

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

@nuinui933, the Innisfree clay mask is a nice one; love how it gently but effectively clarifies.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

@nuinui933 Love clay masks.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

@nuinui933 Iโ€™ve been interested in that clay mask; from the description it sounds almost like a foam (maybe there are multiple versions of the mask?).

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

@nuinui933 love that innisfree clay mask
