Welcome to the 2024 Masking Challenge!
This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!
Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights ๐ฎ
January | Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings. |
February | Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC. |
March | March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please! |
April | Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights. |
May | Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O. |
June | Summer Sunshine - Ice cream, sunglasses, SPF, check! Once the sun is down (or before it's up), extra care is most necessary. How do you give your skin cooling repair? |

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
@emaisgr8 It was really nice! Thanks again for this one! You can't go wrong with Gudetama! ๐
Awww, it's Gudetama! I loved the illustrations on this sheet mask and agree it's on the wider side as far as masks go @Shosh85! The bacon eye brows on this mask always make me smile.
@itsfi I don't ever expect a Creme Shop mask to fit perfectly, but it's not the worst fitting mask I ever tried, so there's that ๐ The bacon eyebrows is probably my favorite part! ๐๐ฅ
So true @Shosh85. I think I go into sheet masks with the expectation that I will need to make at least one adjustment for it. ๐ The bacon eye brows are fantastic!!! ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Sounds pretty decent @Shosh85 . The outer packaging is super cute and I kinda dig the designs on the mask as well, they always make me smile. I have one of these I believe, I'll have to test it out soon!
@missjeanie It turned out nice! Pretty much anything Gudetama makes me smile - especially when he shows off his bare booty ๐
Whoa that does look wide @Shosh85! But cooling sounds so nice and it is adorable. ๐
@ShortErica Yep, gotta love that Creme Shop classic fit! The bacon eyebrows definitely made up for it though! ๐๐ฅ
They need to hire the mask fit designer to be the same caliber as the cuteness factor designer and the problem would be solved @Shosh85!
Good to know it was a cooling mask @Shosh85 I love that in the summer!
@lmaster Absolutely! It makes a perfect summer mask! โ๏ธ๐
@sonnydee thanks for tagging! Going to start reading through it haha
@meou, so good to see you here! You'll find a lot of great posts on some fabulous masks. Enjoy your read. Please do jump in whenever you want, be it in the form of a new post, a response to an existing post, etc.
I thought this would be the easiest way to show you @meou just tagging! ๐ค
Late to the party but I multi masked last week using F products I used Briogeo Be Gentle, Be Kindโข Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfoods Hair Mask 8.0 oz/ 240 mL under a heated cap while I wore Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask 4.1 oz/ 117 g on my face. That is a great combination for multi masking.
@Loretta55, that Honey Potion is a staple for me - love it. I've wondered about that Briogeo avocado hair mask; glad to hear you like it. I have a deluxe sample of it that I'll try soon How often do you use a hair mask?
My hair routine starts with my color touch up which is done every four weeks @itsfi. At the mid point , two weeks I use a hair mask which I leave on for hair anywhere between half an hour to an hour always under a heated cap for better penetration. I always sit with a mask on my face then I will jump back into the shower to wash them both off.
@Loretta55 I do hair masks every couple days in lieu of conditioner, (extra long hair problems) but I really never thought to put it up in a cap and warm up, I mean I've seen people do it, but I'm so glad you mentioned this. Going to try it out tomorrow morning to get a little more out of my masks!
