Hello March ☘️ 🌈, moving right along in 2021!
Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcome.
This Week’s Theme: Most Artistic Sheet Mask 🎨 Thank you to the wonderful @Kim888 for this week’s theme!
Letter of the Week: J
Mask of the Week Misc. Info & Previous Year's Links:
To Post:
Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas.
Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.
Most importantly, have fun and merry masking!

I like your 2 masks approach @WinglessOne. Sometimes when I use a mask I get the "why did I love this before?" or "why was I so critical before?" feelings and disconnect. So many things can impact a masking experience. Now I'll always be buying in pairs when I get to mask buy again. 😂
It’s good to hear about Jolse @WinglessOne; I’ve never ordered from them but see them pop up elsewhere with positive reviews. I like to try new sites once in a blue moon, though I tend to space those purchases out.
We were just talking about Jeni’s today, I think two months is too long to go without good ice cream😁
@eshoe There's never a bad time to buy more Jeni's! Enjoy your next batch of delicious ice cream!
I've yet to have a problem with a Jolse order. Their free trackable shipping minimum is $40 USD. And they always add freebies to orders. (My last order contained the most freebies I've ever gotten from them.) They're a good retailer to consider. 🙂
Thank you for the feedback on Jolse, I think I will take a peek next time I need to make a mask order. Freebies are fun, especially when you don’t know what they are, and even if you are receiving them!
@WinglessOne, the masks from this line are beautiful - packaging and results-wise! I really enjoy a lot of the Shangpree skincare products as well. It's great that this one scored so high for you! 😍 I'll be interested to know which of the 3 masks in this series you like best. Staying tuned...
Very interesting info on salmon @WinglessOne gorgeous packaging!
@WinglessOne I love your review and the packaging on this is so pretty.
@WinglessOne Ooooh, I love the packaging 😍 This mask sounds wonderful! - yet another line I need to try out! I've tried a couple masks with salmon sp3rm and really enjoyed them!
I'm not on theme with this one, but here's the Dewytree Quince Mask!
Marketed as a single-ingredient mask that helps with balancing oil and "cultivates clear skin," this ended up being a lovely mask that I wouldn't hesitate to use again. It had a watery serum and a comfortable sheet made of a blend of eucalyptus, cotton, and seaweed. It had a light fruit scent and stayed moist for a good 20 minutes. I'm not sure if it really helped balance my oil, but skin did feel nicely hydrated after removal of the sheet.
Hydrating is always nice. I wonder if over time it would help more with oil @quspork 🤷
That's definitely a possibility, @ShortErica. Unfortunately for me, I am far too fickle with masks to use just one for an extended period of time so those long term effects are lost on my skin, haha! 🙈
There are some 10 pack boxes I want to try it with, just to use them up but I agree with you @quspork - better and more fun to use a variety.
A light fruit scent sounds wonderful! @quspork
@quspork Good to see someone review one of these Dewytree 100 mask varieties. I've considered trying the cica mask from this line. Glad the quince variety works for you!
I think the Cica one would be right up your alley, @WinglessOne - no extraneous ingredients, just pure Centella Asiatica extract.
@quspork Dewytree makes some nice masks, and it sounds like this was no exception! Glad you enjoyed it! 😃
They do have some nice ones, @Shosh85. I have the birch from this line to try too- so excited to see how it works out.
This mask sounds wonderful @quspork! 🤩 I’ve been impressed with Dewytree sheet masks. Making a note about this one ... for when my mask count is less than triple digits. 😉🤪
You are very much on theme! V is for vitamin C. Quince is a good source of vitamin C! ☺️
Ha- true, Vitamins always sneak in there , @itsfi!
I multimask almost everyday, so just thought I'd share my normal Wednesday routine.
I start with an intense exfoliation or peel. Right now I'm using Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask 5 oz/ 148 mL right now.
I follow up with a hydrating mask. I'm close to empty on the Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask 5 oz/ 150 mL
After the rest of my skincare routine, I end the night with a sleeping mask and lip mask. Right now I'm using the Origins Mini Drink Up™ Intensive Overnight Hydrating Mask with Avocado & Swiss Glacier Water 1 oz/ 3... and the old formula bite beauty lip mask.
